Before everyone flips out. This means sales have tripled since the price cut. That's on a week to week basis. Also that's 10 million shipped worldwide. Don't get confused by the PR spin doctors.
It's the right thing to do. This game is probably one of their biggest of 2015. I don't care how long it takes, as long as the game is good.
Agreed. I'm loving what I'm seeing so far. It's a shame this game is getting irrational hate for trying something different and not living up to some guy's standards of what a game should be.
I would give all my $399 for this to be true.
I can't wait for the Brack Friday Bunduru for each console.
What happens to Minecraft?
I expect it to be on every Microsoft device imaginable. Like the new Minesweeper, lol.
Free Minecraft with Windows 8!
Free Minecraft with Xbox One!
Free Minecraft with Surface!
Free Minecraft with Azure Server Rental!
Bought Master Chief Collection? Free Minecraft!
Get a free copy of Minecraft with Microsoft toilet paper!
Lol I'm not buying this crap. Game isn't even out yet and Ubi is already trying to milk it.
You know what's insane?
The fact that we're probably going to have to spend $200+ to get the full experience before the next game comes out. I'm sure that Bungie made this deep, fantastic game, but Activision forced them to cut it to pieces to benefit the bottom line.
Translation: "We're waiting to see how fat of a check MS writes us"
Binding of Isaac + Frozen Synapse, excellent :3
VVVVVV INCOMING INDIE WHINERS VVVVVV
Best Buy has a deal this week where if you buy a phone, any phone, even a $15 no contract one, you get 2 years of GCU free. No activation required. That cuts all your next-gen titles down to $48 at the highest. Pretty good deal, right?
To be fair, no one really expected it to do gangbusters anyway. It's basically the guts of a Vita put into a micro-console.
I won't argue that Microsoft has a chance to win the holidays. Price cuts and exclusives like MCC are good sellers. They should be concerned about the other 10 months of the year. The only thing that holiday cuts do is push sales forward and bunch them up. MS might win these two months, and warriors might scream of a "wave of change," from the rooftops, but if you lose the rest of the year, is it really a victory?
Next few months?!
Come on man, I'm getting sick of waiting.
@Reaper I'd say the Tomb Raider deal is an even worse slap to the face. PS fans don't get the game at all because MS wrote a nice fat check to Square Enix to hold it off PS platforms.
Sony is already way ahead, I don't expect them to release a slim version before Microsoft does. Those who bought it first should feel cheated at all. Early adopters paid a premium to play the games first, while the rest of us had to wait.
Only people that should be mad are those that got stuck with the useless Kinect.
Man PlayStation is killing it! Hopefully the rest of Sony can turn itself around.
Yay, more hate on a demo that was released last February.
It sucks but I already know reviewers have already decided they're going to hate the game.
I'm not sure what people were expecting. It's basically the guts of a Vita put in a console.
Tlou Remaster was $50 lol
