Yes how dare they fix their game for the benefit of consumers.
This poor soul knows nothing about the consoles he's talking about. The PS4 will never play a game of the visual caliber of Killzone at 4K 30fps. As for 60fps, well none of the PS4 or Xbox One consoles out at the moment have the correct HDMI port to support 4K at above 30fps.
But they announce hardware before it's ready like idiots.
What a boring article. "In the end it comes down to which one you had most fun with", boring. Witcher 3 absolutely obliterates Skyrim. The one strong part of Skyrim was the world and atmosphere. Narrative, combat and gameplay as a whole was nowhere near what the Witcher 3 is.
That's a hilarious title. The grammar mistake and the spoiler.
That's a weird bloody list. The guy from Thief? Really?
Well they have it locked at thirty right now because they aren't quite at a locked sixty. Consistency is more important. Why play.com are assuming that's the final framerate I don't know.
I don't disagree with them really, there is a good chance that it will be 30fps. If that's the case I'm nowhere near as interested in the game as I was before
Disappointing.
I like the article, it raises a very important point. But the line "Not-so next gen" isn't quite earned by the main body of text.
Framerate isn't a trivial issue. Resolution is pretty much trivial now, but framerate isn't. Having a low framerate noticeably hinders the ability to play and the amount of perceived content by the player.
And you also don't seem to have the technical knowledge that you're berating others for not having. Not having 60fps is an artistic decision. We have consoles that are capable of 60fps and pretty good graphics, but it just won't happen because companies think gra...
Interesting title
*Sees it's duelshockers
*leaves
It won't change the industry because Geurrilla will win.
Good article. Judging from the title alone I thought we were going to be told to stop complaining about downgrades lol
No
Please no. Yes it does seem like PS2 material but I can't be stuck with this for another 7+ years. Games at the end of the PS3 cycle were such a slog.
Will I now be able to afford it?
Shadow Fall could actually do with a new dimension.
It looks pretty awful. Blurrier than your average 900p game actually.
This game is very visually impressive, especially so considering it is running 1080p60.
Interested in what "Medium AA" means. Hopefully above FXAA.
It's incredible how wrong a community can be. This is the best critique of the MGS series I've ever read. I'm amazed that out of nowhere in game journalism someone could come out just be totally spot-on about MGS.
