Indeed, XI was a masterpiece. XII was awesome. I got 30 hours into X and couldn't go further, I still have it and maybe one day I'll push on to finish.
FFX just didn't fit my taste.
FFXII was my favorite singleplayer of the series, and I've played em all. FFV was a good one as well.
I agree completely. EA is a gaming giant and this chart will shed some light. Golden age from 1997-2007 (imo it ended in 2005).
SE stock history is somewhat similar.

I never said they invented open world 3D rpg, but give me one example of a open world 3d rpg that isn't made by bethesda. Don't say rockstar because you can't mod weapons or talk to npc's in their games. Just one example. If it has a zone every 500ft then its not open world either.
All thats missing are cave trolls, but they should be here soon :)
Without Bethesda true open world 3D RPG's don't exist.
If you don't like their games don't buy em, its that simple. I platinum'd Skyrim on PS3 in 280 hours, with a shit eating grin on my face 80% of the time. If i had spent my $60 on Uncharted 3 instead, I would have to have replayed it 18.66 times to get the value that I got from Skyrim.
Since Skyrim played virtually bug free for me I am led to assume that most gamers are just a bunch of fat dough...
This is what makes PS Plus so great. I get introduced to alot of great games that I would never have given a chance in the past.
Everybody wins with PS Plus.
In terms of gaming, Xbox customers are the biggest losers lately.
One of the reasons I love my PS3 is because of the controller. Imo the Xbox controller feels like a handheld game from the early eighties.
Xbox may have taken off early. But according to the sales numbers the PS3 should surpass Xbox360 in the first quarter of next year.
You don't win races by leading the first few laps, and when mid 2013 comes around Sony will be leading.

2k and 4k is a reality in the very near future. It shouldn't come as a surprise that a console in 2014 would have it as well.
So all we need is 4 PS3's to run 4k. Just release the software and I'll buy 3 more :)
