Killzone2 made me hate COD.
COD now seems like a sterile game with arcade environments, The weapons dont breathe nor do the environments...
To each his own, I think that COD has a smaller learning curve so people like it cos its easier, but after you get used to Killzone 2 you will find it a much better experience and less arcade like than COD.
I dunno thats what I think and I have been playing COD since day one back on the PC when the first game ...
COD4 was stellar, but some of the maps were boring and too small.
Thats what I liked about killzone 2. The maps are amazing. You truely get the sense of chaos, a warzone, and deterioated buildings...
For all those who are stupidly addicted to COD series. Give Killzone2 a chance, its amazing how many people only compare everything to COD. What did u guys do before COD? compare everything to another game?

I am the complete opposite of the author of this article.
It took me a while to get into the MP, just like any new MP game that comes out.
Now I am thoroughly addicted, the war zones feel like ravaging war zones and not sterile environments, and I love the leveling up and the new abilities...
Its up to the players to work together and make sure at that there is at least a medic around or so forth and so on...thats not the game's fault.

I have both ps3/xbox 360 demos
Both pretty much play well, I didnt notice any huge differences, I mean u can only notice if ur going to be an anal nitpicker
The ps3 had better overall lighting
The 360 tends to use a lot of AA on their games, I noticed that between my two versions of Call of Duty World at War. Its like the ps3 has better resolution for the same games but the 360 blurs out the jaggies to make up for it, seems like that anyway.

If your LCD tv or Plasma is not configured correctly, u will get that fire button/or whatever lag they are speaking of...I had it at first, fixed my settings and poof no problems with the controls...
Its too bad people are easy to shoot with their mouths instead of their brains...
I thought RESISTANCE 1 graphics were fine for the time.
Indeed I thought its stylistic touch of dark and dreery atmosphere's added to the storyline
One thing that bugged me about the new resistance is they used a similar colour palette to Ratchet and Clank. Bad move on their part.
Screw people who complain about the amount of rainbow colours in games. Are they graphics designers are art aficiandos? Hell no, so why would insomniac cater to those fre...

My Samsung LCD can handle full range beautifully. Rich colours/blacks but not too dark like they are describing
My Plasma however is another story putting it on full range for gaming makes it too black
But if ur watching blurays or dvds, keep ur settings to Full range, u'll get better shades of grey and black if u do...
dont always trust gamer sites to tell u about ur tv in general do some homework and experiment urself
I played gears of war 2.
It was awesome. But the multiplayer was crapped up. I eventually had to sell it.
Killzone in my opinion looks real while Gears of War 2 still has the Cartoon / Fantasy book look that games of last gen have. Even if it is a great looking game by any means.
Still two different schools of art.

The only lag I ever had was the usual TV to GAME lag which I fixed by changing the resolution of the PS3 to match the native res of my TV.
Lag gone.
This happens not only in Killzone 2 but Halo 3, rock band. etc etc
so so I am sick of hearing this lag talk. people are either vacant upstairs or just like to complain bc they are too lazy to think.
