lol No kidding. Big letdown.. this game has a god premise just execution is sloppy beyond belief. I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me, because I swear I have seen some Wii games that look better. Ran at 50-60 FPS for me though so they're doing Something right, which is better than I can say for some other new games.
"Come gather 'round people
Wherever you roam
And admit that the waters
Around you have grown
And accept it that soon
You'll be drenched to the bone.
If your time to you
Is worth savin'
Then you better start swimmin'
Or you'll sink like a stone
For the times they are a-changin'."
It's nice to see our roots every once in a while.

It's like RL.
"Sometimes I think 'Maybe I wanna join the army' I mean it's Basically like FPS except better graphics! But what happens if I get lag out there? I'm DEAD! I mean, I even heard there's no respawn points in RL!"
FPS Doug speaks wisdom.
Simulators don't, or shouldn't, have lag.
People like to hide behind their little computer screens making fun of other people. Welcome to the internet.
Steam has grown tremendously in the past few years, keeping the PC relevant in the public eye as one of the leading frontiers of digital download. Valve raised the bar on FPS storytelling with Half Life 2 and the expansions and won a tremendous amount of GOTY awards among other various ones. Portal was new and it's witty/twisted sense of humor caught the attention of many...
This game just gets better and better.
This is not one of the better Kasumi cosplays I have seen.
Well from what I see these screens are not in-game footage. No HUD no reticle or anything, so unless they render the cutscenes with the same engine as in-game these screens could be pointless.
Dang! BioWare is pushing polygons again.
"The first game had a kind of a grainy look to it, so it’s a no brainer that who is winning here." There is an option to turn this off.. lol.
The screen of the environment for ME2 looks drawn though. I don't know why they used that instead of actual shots from the game.
Looking forward to another epic RPG from BioWare.
Wiimote on crack + zombies? Awesome!!!
Yeah, Irrational Games primarily developed PC games so it wouldn't surprise me if Division 9 was PC only. From the video it looks like the animations are really slow, like the character movements and such. Valve's fast past probably made zombie-survival-coop more fun and exciting, rather than that shown in the video.
It's still pretty cool to see this kind of stuff from devs.
Sure not every single game is amazing but the ones that are make up for it. Even with Natal and whatever Sony's thing is called (sorry, I don't keep track of this stuff) I think that Nintendo will still appeal to the masses because it was the first and most people with a Wii are probably not going to buy another gaming system just so they can play motion controlled games.
First one wasn't all that good either. I like the concept of you and a buddy going and killing baddies with an emphasis on teamwork, but the execution of said teamwork isn't all that new or interesting. Lots of cool ideas but poor execution.
When has Blizzard released anything that hasn't been polished to meet their standards?
Diablo Land and rainbow mod are the best. I remember there was a screenshot of a pony pooping a rainbow somewhere...
[EDIT] Aha!! Love spree.
I have a sneaking suspicion 2010 will be a good year for RPG's. ;)
Android phones are great. I'm hoping that some devs will see potential in making games for Android handsets. But as of now nothing can take Nintendo's throne from them. Not even with the iPhone's slew of killer apps and amazing games.
PC graphics are better. Don't say "ohh UC2 gameplay is better, flows better, story is better." This article is about graphics. And PC dominates in that area. It has been for the past few years. Even the mighty Uncharted 2 can't compete with the power of most PC graphics.
I LOL at people who say you need a ultra rig to play PC games.
There are keyboards with displays so you can see network traffic, CPU and RAM usage, and lots of other stuff like game stats( some games support this). I have a Logitch G15 2nd Edition and it displays all that plus Multumedia, LCD clock, SideShow, FRAPS, POP3 monitor, Timer/stopwatch, and RSS reader. I know a lot of games support LCD displayed stats like kills, health, squad mates, map, and other useful stuff. I know for sure WoW supports it.
