Hahahahahahaha!
Well it's Activision...they'll hardly miss the money.
And what would they have done with the extra revenue anyway....used it to fund new and innovative games?
Build a swanky new game engine? Bring us cheap dlc?
Good...maybe footage of screaming swearing psycho racist homophobic 13 yr olds might shock parents into actually doing some ruddy parenting for once.
Who knows maybe the online space might become a nicer place to be...we can only hope.
I don't wish one to triumph over the other, but as a 3D evangelist I feel the 3DS has set the 3D movement back by quite a bit...If only for the media backlash it's received in the UK.
I wanted to like the 3DS but the 3D effect is quite pitiful. But maybe thats after playing on my cheap 120" projected image for £750.
It doesn't seem value for money.
Yup it can really add to the whole experience. Done well you'll just sit there with a dopey grin on your face the whole time.
Unfortunately the disappointment from a poorly implemented 3D title can seriously put a dent in your enthusiasm for a game...even if it's a pretty good 2D title.
Can't wait to play Uncharted.. (unfortunately I have to...till xmas) It's been hailed as the Avatar of games...so I'm well excited to see how it all pans ...
@Tachyon...apparently only 14% did...on ANY difficulty.
Dammit...I was about to make a croissant remark.
They dont look like horns that's for sure.
Yes...it unlocks access for all account users on the Ps3. At least resistance 3 does...that's the only one I've bought with a pass so far.
I've also downloaded it to my other ps3 and all accounts are unlocked there too.
I did!
@lovedaddy Thats not how it works...you can download as many times as you like. It used to be activated on up to 5 consoles at any one time.
I've deleted stuff to make room for other games many times and re-downloaded content. then i upgraded my hdd on both ps3's and and downloaded the lot.. some of the games i bought were downloaded many more than 5 times.
Plus sometimes a friend has wondered about a game so you sign in with your psn account downloa...
I let my nephew share my games...I dont mind losing that ability but I also have two ps3's in my house that both get used...was also planning to pick up a vita.
This might make me think twice about what I purchase from the store in the future.
Hear hear!
We can hope!
I use a dlp projector and active glasses, have never EVER had the image 'ghost'.
Since upgrading to 3D I've pretty much grabbed hold of everything Sony has released. All of which work fine.
I for one cant wait for Drake in 3D.
Colour me impressed too.
No one lost money over the playstation hack...the world was up in arms about it.
You get what you pay for....apparently.
I've played in 3D on my projector for hours at a time...it's fine..I also need glasses to see anyway.
The 3ds I feel has too small a screen to utilise 3d well.
3 cheers for the Online Pass.
You get what you pay for!....Oh wait...hang on.
Duuurrr duuuurrr. You can sign in as you download the pass and play with your friends on any console....duurrr duurrr...
'they'll likely claim the reason the child is acting in such a manner is directly attributed to the games they play.'
They could have a point... children's minds/brains are very different to adults in the way information/emotions are processed and how they react to the world at large because of the various stimuli they have received thus far.
They are still developing...these games are 18 for a reason. They should not be playing them. It'...
