Still don't think the game would gain ANYTHING from creating a bit of depth in the background.

There's nothing to explore...it would literally be a box.

Plus your eyes would constantly just be converging on the nearest plane...where the characters are fighting. If you're looking at the background your getting your ass kicked.

I use 3D all the time.
Have a 3D projector, some games work brilliantly...others not so much.

Actually all of the HD remakes play REALLY well, practically flawless in
3D...God of War, Ico and the Sly trilogy are great. The picture is flawless and with DLP projectors you get zero crosstalk.

Some of the newer 3D titles play less well, Killzone 3/Resistence 3 take a serious graphical hit...with some serious jaggies to boot. But to be fair they a...

This game would be almost pointless in 3D. It would distract more than it added.

Really? In that case colour me impressed.

*That makes me want one just to try out accents on it....I wonder how well it does with North Walian and Brummy.

Does anyone know how Kinect fares with accents and dialects?

I know Apples Siri flounders miserably(amusingly) when confronted by a Scottish accent.

But how many of those games are now 80% cheaper than when you bought them?

That's one sweet backlog of games to be playing if you're only just taking the plunge.

Yeah, Sony have already gone on record to say we should expect the same sort of graphical leaps that the PS2 had towards the end of it's life due to developers finally TRULY understanding the hardware.

David Cage also said that Sony were reluctant to let him show off the KARA tech demo until he could prove to them that it could be bettered. He said the latest iteration of his engine far exceeded what was shown in KARA.

I'm in no hurry to replace my ...

By that argument...the one where Bush has the right to do that because he's protecting his country and citizens....

Then Obama (if it was his decision in the first place) Is well within his rights to demand that every games console be monitered...but that is protecting the children!

It's not reducing your right to privacy or to gain more power it's protecting the children. The children need to be protected.

Now that we've come...

It's so much more complicated than that. And no he really can't do what he wants when he wants, or America would be a very different place.

He may have been able to push the odd thing through as the uk gov does on occasion. But really he does not have carte blanche to willy nilly change any law he sees fit.

I know you said nothing about the republicans....all you said that it was down happened under Obama. Which suggests you blame him and his adminis...

Hardly part of the democrats manifesto. Plus the Republicans hold the majority.

That's like saying 9/11 was all Bush's fault. There is a much larger picture to be seen.

The President is little more than a mouthpiece. He has very little real power.

Ok, granted. But my NAS streams to my ps3, laptop, tablet and phone. Whilst my Tivo box records however many programs simultaneously.

Speaking off daisy chains, we have two ps3's, a nas, a desktop, laptop all wired through a gig switch. Any .mkv is taken from the nas, transcoded then viewed on the ps3. It's not that bad. And at least the wires are hidden.

It's a great device...but I'm not sure it'll be the next big thing. I've had all...

It's an ok idea and I'm glad to see Sony branching out but I can't help feel it's too little.

500g? That's nothing...I'm not sure people will pay so much for so little, Or if the market is big enough for it.

I already have cable with a 1TB Tivo box. And a 2TB NAS attached to the network. Sony are about 2 years too late for me at least.

Maybe they will fair better in the fledgling markets, but I cant think of anyone I k...

Wow... you are seven shades of wrong.

If you had followed any of Charlie's other media broadcasts you would have seen that he has been quite vocal on the whole EA/gay issue. Yes he might have incorporated stonewalls message into the headline but had he meant to address the ill fated retracted right wing advertisment, he would have. Nothing about ANY of that debacle was mentioned or even alluded to IN ANY WAY.

He's always hysterical and his social commentary is second to none.
I've yet to play ME3 so not yet sure if I agree or not.

But he makes a compelling argument on why people should be so upset at the inclusion of LGBT gaming characters. As the old saying goes 'It's the squeeky wheel that wants the grease.' He might just be right.

Skype is not an xbox exclusive because part of the deal when buying them stated that the app was to remain available to all those who used it previously...I'm paraphrasing obviously.

It's apparent that the author didn't bother to do any actual research.

BAD JOURNALISM!
