Bought 3 final fantasys earlier with no prob.
It's true that you can't recieve 7.1 through the optical port...there isn't enough bandwidth.
It can of course send it through hdmi...
But I'm pretty sure the Sony 7.1 headset works through the usb port. Compatibility for it was mentioned in one of the firmware updates.
But without 7+ mini speakers in the cans this whole argument is stupid, because it'll be pseudo 7.1 like 'virtual' surround sound through 2 speaker...
@levelhead I believe you have missed my point entirely. Had you watched the E3 kinect voice integration of mass effect?
You HAD to voice out dialogue...in such a way that would prolong the gameplay not streamline it.
If they have come up with a new way...yee bloody ha bring it on....awesome! But I fear it may be as lame as has already been shown. That is what I'm against.
I'm not sure.... I liked the way you could select your next question/dialogue option b4 the npc had finished talking which made the conversation smooth.
I don't think I'd enjoy waiting till they had finished b4 saying a line then listening to Shepard paraphrase it.
That to me is interrupting gameplay.
I've known plenty of guys far more manly than Drake that are gay.

Actually I've downloaded plenty of digital games at a friends house for them to try.

Playing it I kept saying I would have thought there would have been more of a graphical leap since the last one.
I guess nostalgia has hazed my memories somewhat...as it's quite clearly leaps and bounds better.

Wow i've had barely ANY framerate drops. Though the menu ystem paused heavily before I could select anything on my second play...my 3rd and subsequent plays have been fine.

I like Nolan North, the guy is truly talented...his dubbing credits etc show just how versatile he is.
However more often than not he seems to just use his default voice. Maybe it's because he is now so famous..he doesn't have to work so hard.
But hearing the same voice in a different setting kind of ruins the experience a little for me.
He's a voice actor...he should be using different voices...the man has proved he can do it...s...

I Don't remember ANY of those being a problem in Heavy Rain, God of War, Singstar, Once upon a monster, Pac-man, Pong, the Sims, Hanna Montana, Monkey Island....the list is practically endless.

Just kidding...I don't like the name wii u and think they should have moved away from the wii brand completely. Yes it dominated...but disappointed in equal measure.
I'm more than happy for them to blow my socks off, but just hearing the name makes me sceptical.
