See I think it's destiny that's in trouble here as it peaked a few weeks back. With halo, cod and far cry within the month, destiny will fade away. Everyone I know has either sold their copy or just stopped playing.
That argument was played out 5 years ago and can be said about most studios. New talent can be hired. Companies can go through ups and downs. I've enjoyed all of their games that I've played with the exception of the sports games so let's give them another chance on a action/adventure game which is their strength anyway.
Guys, it's just the first week of sales, not lifetime sales.
As expected for most demos on any platform prior to launch. Let's judge it once it's been optimized.
Everything working fine in Los Angeles. At least for me.
I feel the same about ps4. I like sony and I want one, but I have no idea what I would play on it right now besides towerfall.
Seriously? What bad press are you referring to? I feel like it's the opposite actually.
Two things:
1) maybe it's not THAT persons most anticipated game, hence the disagree. valid, but unnecessary.
2) not a fan of xbox so automatic disagree.
I happen to agree with the lad, I'm looking forward to fc4 more than MCC
I want to live in this world.
Maybe there is a difference but you can't really tell. That's how it's been for me with this whole 900 vs 1080p mumbo-jumbo.
I hope they don't remove the parity clause. It's been working pretty good so far as a crap filter. As long as they continue to make exceptions for quality titles, we're good.
2% of people who play games care. The rest have no idea it's even going on.
This game is going to get lost in the sea of games this holiday season but I expect some cool things from those who dedicate the time. Even if you don't build anything you can still brows the games others have built and hey, it's free so why not.
It kind of works in MS and MS fans favor as it gives MS a way to diplomatically tell an indie developer that they don't want their game on their platform for whatever reason. For the ones they do want, they make the exception.
It's possible they are preparing a holiday bundle with Kinect. I can't imagine Amazon not carrying them through their fulfillment center being a permanent thing but time will tell. There are certain ps4 bundles that they don't fulfill themselves as well.
Phil Spencer said the same thing about 3 months back, this isn't anything new. He said it wouldn't be a MASSIVE leap but it would help.
What if they confirm both the PS4 and Xbox One version will end up being 1080p?
Man, Microsoft and Sony need to sit down together and agree on next gen hardware so we don't have to repeat this fiasco next gen. Make them both the same power so we can get back to talking about games and how they play vs resolutions.
But the downside is in the end, you're stuck with a PC. PC's can be a million times more powerful than consoles but in the end, I just want to sit down on my couch and play a game with my friends on my tv without having to deal with a PC. Just my opinion/preference.
It will be released 30-40 days from the launch date. That is when the majority of game purchases for a title are made. They cannot risk the free version eating into their sales. It's business. Sucks but that's how it goes.
