The reviews have been really good for this game. Wish there was a demo as I'd like to try it out. Not normally a fan of these types of games but looking to branch out.

D4 is still a new IP regardless of whether it is downloadable or retail. Same with Ori and Fantasia.
You always want to own the IP even if you only release it on one platform. If Sunset Overdrive blows up and they turn this into a franchise and release toys, they'll want control over all of that. It's just a good idea to aways own the IP.
I use my X1 everyday and I never wipe the dust off. It adds flavor.

I don't remember being able to shoot the Ice above and have it fall down on people. Is that new? Either way, this looks way better than I was expecting it to. Can't wait.
It's a hack and slash. Great for what it was. Play it on difficult and it feels VERY different. Much more skill required with regards to timing. I loved the game, hopefully they make a sequel and expand on the idea even more.
Correct. PC graphics evolve on and about a yearly basis. Consoles are static for the most part but I also believe that this game would have benefited from an extra year of development time and ended up looking even better than it did when it launched almost a year ago.

Being able to switch between beautiful dynamic high res assets back to basic with the press of a button similar to the Halo anniversary editions would be pretty cool. I'm kind of excited that MS bought Minecraft. I think we will get more frequent updates as a result. I except the team to double in size over the next year.
