I've never associated PC's with gaming. I use my PC for work and my consoles for games. I think that's how the majority of console gamers are but I could be wrong.

People SAY that but nobody believes them when they do. If your favorite game was released on PS4 digital only, you would buy it. You might huff and puff, but you're still going to buy it. Pretending you won't is just silly.
I was more referring to the software. I do think we have 1 more physical console generation after this one. But I do hope and pray that disc based games end with this generation.

PS3 sales didn't really pick up until after the price drop. Price played a key roll in that system moving units a year after it launched.
I don't see any of the games you listed above moving the needle on PS4 units with the exception of Uncharted 4. I think those games will do very well for people that already own the system but yeah, i don't see people running out to get a ps4 to play bloodborne.
I think that when you have two systems that are so similar in terms of power and games, the biggest differentiator is the price. If the xbox one had launched at $399.99 I think it would be neck and neck with the ps4 in terms of global sales. The proof will be whether MS can continue this upwards sales trend in 2015 with the lower price point. I can't imaging them raising the price back up to $399.99
Or sony can save everyone some time and just settle. They know they're in the wrong.
Yes, i said it has lost its mass appeal which is true. There will always be a small group of hardcore street fighter fans and that's great.
Of course the price was the determining factor here. Same goes for why the Ps4 took such an early lead. Had the launched at the same price we would be looking at very different numbers.
I agree, street fighter lost its mass appeal years ago. Great news if your still a street fighter fan and own a ps4 though. I think deep down is a much better get than this.
Maybe 20 years ago but definitely not today. Every iteration it sells less and less.
I would hope so with double the user base.

I really don't think The Order and Bloodborne will be system sellers. Uncharted 4 DEFINITELY. but I think bloodborne is more niche. I think you're right kstap33, it was never a big seller. Doesn't mean it won't be a great game, just don't think it will move units.
