Unlike the Wii launch, there's more than one game I want.
Probably will pick up ZombiU and Assassin's Creed 3 (if it's a launch title), unless I get AC3 for my PC.
Other than that, Pikmin 3 and Project P-100 look great.
Too bad Aliens: Colonial Marine got delayed.
What is with people expecting them to roll out a new system with all their big guns at once?
The N64 launched with Super Mario 64, Star Fox/DK/Zelda didn't come until later. Metroid didn't even hit the system.
The Gamecube launched with Luigi's Mansion and Smash Bros. Melee/Pikmin a few weeks later. Mario and Metroid would come later in the systems life, DK/Star Fox wouldn't get a proper game (the games were poor) and F-Zero wasn't there. ...
I'm more excited for this game than I am about New Super Mario Bros. U or Pikmin 3 (not by much though).
I think I'll get this and ZombiU on launch, if I buy a Wii U when it releases.
We all do from time to time, but the thing is, most games have us doing that constantly. I'd rather play a few challenging games here and there that will make me feel like I've actually accomplished something, mixed in with the pure, unadulterated fun of breezing through a game.
I could totally see myself going from this to Mario. Take a break from the challenge with some mind-numbing fun, and then back to the "Oh God I swear if I die agaOHSHITNOTAGAIN!" tha...
Oh yeah, forgot about that. Read that last night. But still...I'm down with full living servers.
I loved Day Z. I said last night this won't be as tactical or annoyingly difficult (thanks to bugs and what not) but it'll be great to see what a console can do with something like it.
I hope it's MP, and not simple MP like Death Match or 2-4 player MP, but like...full living servers like Day Z.
It won't be anywhere NEAR as tactical and realistic as DayZ. It'd be awesome if it were, but I doubt it.
Still, from the info in that link, it'd be fucking awesome.
We'll see gameplay at tomorrow's conference or Wednesday's software showing.
They're giving us options. Some people are gonna like the WiiPad, some are gonna like the Pro, some are gonna keep using the Wii controllers. It's like how in SSBB, you could play with the Wii controller (w/nunchuck), Wii controller (w/o nunchuck), Gamecube controller, and Classic controller.
Not to mention the WiiPad is the thing that's gonna jack the price up so high, and we still don't know for certain that the Wii U can use multiple WiiPads. It's going...

While it could very well be a Pokemon MMO, though I don't know if they'd outsource something of that magnitude to Ubisoft. Unless they're working hand-in-hand with Gamefreak, then I'm iffy on the idea of having another team work with the Pokemon franchise.
Doesn't say anything about /v/. But I'd bet my ass they did it because of /v/.
Gotta keep telling myself...
Only a month away...
Also, Skyrim and Zelda are released a week apart from each other.
I will have no cash whatsoever.
And for newer releases...
The Authority Pulse Cannon.
You get it for the painfully short last mission, and it's barely useful. I used it twice, both on the heavily armored enemies, because I thought I'd be wise and save my shotgun/assault rifle/sniper rifle/crossbow ammo for the end of it. But I used more wingsticks in the end than anything else...
Wingsticks: Why Use Precious Ammo When You Have a Retrievable Boomerang of Death?
Is there any license EA won't buy to try and eliminate the competition?
I swear, they'd work wonders in the late 1800s, early 1900s as "captains of industries."
Call me a fanboy, but I stopped reading after this.
"Experience tells us that any game designed for Nintendo isn't the kind we want on 360. But then, this is Microsoft"
So they don't want Zelda, or Mario, or Metroid, etc? Cause that's pretty much my definition of fanboy right there.
When did we go from "Let's play games" to "Let's only play X-types of games, because we're hardcore?" Seriou...
Okay, so it took EA, what? Seven years before they actually came out with a game that rivaled the quality of NFL 2k5? Not buying it. I'm done with Madden, and this time, hopefully, I mean it.
So...let me get this straight...
There's going to be: Batman, Robin, The Joker, Harley Quinn, Alfred, Commissioner Gordon, Barbara Gordon, Two Face, Catwoman, The Penguin, The Riddler, Bane, Solomon Grundy, Hugo Strange, and Talia al Ghul?
Seriously Rocksteady, all you need to do is throw in Ras Al Ghul and Clayface and I will sign over my life to you.
Capcom's sucked for a long time. The only game I've bought from them in quite some time was Resi 4 for the Gamecube, and that's only because it was really a must have.
Resi 5 was boring as shit and I wouldn't have been able to complete it without self mutilation if it wasn't for my friend and I playing co-op.
I quite liked that article, and the author did seem to sum up the feeling across the web.
Though, he did just go after the average anti-Nintendo fanboy. It would have been interesting for him to factor in what Nintendo fans like myself are saying about it.
I'm not entirely sold on the Wii U, not until I see large amounts of good software from 3rd Party devs come out, but I will admit, I'm incredibly excited about the possibilities.
A. Illegal unless you already own the game, in which you don't need an emulator.
And
B. Idiotic because I'd hate to try and play OoT on a straight keyboard. NES/SNES games yes, they're simple to have the keyboard work with them. Not so much for N64 games, unless you can actually use the mouse, which I don't think any emulator can.
They could have Activision. There's a rumor that they've got Blizzard on board for a console Diablo 3 and an unannounced title. If they've got Blizzard, they've got Activision.
