Yes, Ubisoft has a lot of games coming out for the system, but still, they're not the only dev making games for them.

Not every launch is going to cater to every gamer.
Hell, the only reason I wanted the Wii at launch was for Twilight Princess, but other than that, I could care less. I was focused on the Nintendo games down the line.
I had Smash Bros, Luigi's Mansion, and THPS3 for launch.
God that was a great system, despite its many flaws.
At least Sakurai is still involved. I don't fear for it's development.
Also, I hope Namco is developing the 3DS version, while Project Sora sticks to the Wii U.
They have enough money to lose a billion a year for 50 years, and still run a business.

Tablets would be awesome for RTSs, Starcraft would be awesome on consoles, if they could do it.
I expect that we might see SC2 on Wii U and 360, thanks to the new Windows tablet.
So what would you have them do? If you die once, you automatically can never play again?

No idea. Nintendo wants it to happen, it's one of the big features of the Wii U. We'll have to see when it comes out.

Did you not read what I wrote? If you don't have access to the TV, you can still play the game, via the tablet screen...
Of course they are. What the article was stating was that it's at the very least a passable substitute. This is one of the big factors of the Wii U. Say you're playing Mario or ZombiU or ACIII, and your parents or your roommates want the TV. Instead of stopping the game, you can just port it to the tablet so you can keep playing, and it still looks good.

Despite it being...I don't know...THE LAUNCH of the system? It's going to be around 6 to 7 years before Nintendo makes a new console, so nothing in there would interest you? Say, a Metroid, a Zelda, a DK, Star Fox/F-Zero/Eternal Darkness, not to mention third party games that will stand up against the PS3/360, possibly PS4/720, versions?

Retro has made my second favorite series in the Metroid Prime trilogy, my 2nd or 3rd favorite game in Metroid Prime, an amazing 2.5D platformer in Donkey Kong Country Returns (which I need to play more of), and didn't they work on Mario Kart 7?
Whatever they're working on, I'm happy with it. Leave Zelda to the Japanese offices.
It's not gonna be like the old FCs, where you had one for the system, and then multiple depending on the games you had.
From what I've read, and what I hope it will be, is like Battle.net's Battletags.
I can see getting intoxicated and playing these.
Samurai Jack would be overpowered, simply being too awesome for the other characters.
They don't know which games will be readily available at the time of the immediate launch of the system, that's what they're deciding.
All of the games announced are in the so called "launch window" which is 3 to 4 months after the system launches.
