Surprised this is over 100 degrees. Positive XB1 news is usually meet with a cold chill.
What Sony did was premature because Xbox One didn't launch with those used game policies.

When the question has to be asked that already shows there's doubt. Xbox will always be associated with fps. No articles have to be written trying to convince people or PR from company executives claiming to be the new box for shooters.
What about the new home of shooters?
Microsoft gaming division overall revenue was up 6%. In the big picture it really doesn't matter. Microsoft has a $430 Billion market cap. Sony's market cap is around $30 Billion. Perspective.

If I'm a reviewer and want to stand out and get clicks. This is what you do now. Many good reviews, very few comments. Bad reviews, tidal wave of comments. Its all business.
Nope, the gaming media environment is all about clicks now. And, I can promise you there will be a low score or two for that reason alone. Sadly thats all it takes is for 1 or 2 sites to give a low score to drive your metacritic scrore down.

Locked 1080p60fps. Only racing game on either console doing it.
Anything negative related to Xbox/MS gets more attention. Forza 6 got rave reviews from 99% of reviewers yet the one that gave it a negative review got the most comments.
The driving physics in the rain alone is worthy of the score. No other racing game has done it like Forza6.
One great race uh? Sorry I wont even indulge this review with a click. Game should have gotten a 1/5 if you didnt have a good race.

The issue with the XB1 version is its 900P and dips below 60fps alot. Hanging in the low 40s during the rain. Pretty game just not technically sound from a performance stand point. You want that consistent 60fps on console, right now the only game thats doing it Forza.
I doubt this. UHD Bluray are coming with 100GB capacities. Games have gotten bigger every generation. I expect to see the next generation system (dare I say) supporting 8K. Internet speeds and with some Cable companies itroducing broadband caps are going to make it impossible to download hundreds of GBs of data for a few games.
I'd say it was worth it. I have more games on my xb1 (more than 90) than I have add on any prior console going back my 89' NES.
