Sales are much easier to break. US population increases by 3.3 million every year. World population increases by about 83 million a year. There are just more people on earth.
Phil Spencer has said there would need to be a technological reason to release another system. 8K tvs or super high refresh rates like 240hz or higher. There not going to release a new system just because time has going by. There's going to have to be reason for it to exist.

This whole war stuff is stupid. Microsoft and Sony manufacture what they can sell. The more Sony sells the more consoles they have to pay to manufacture. The less MS sell the less they pay to manufacture. Both have games that sell in the millions so attach rate isn't a problem for either system.

DF has been on a mission to find things to be "disappointed" in concerning XB1 X games. Remember nothing but excuses for PS4 Pro. Checkerboad 4k was good enough is what they said about Pro a year ago.
