Oh my god! I was diehard and actually loved the strategizing in the first Pikmin. It is very strategical despite it's being less serious in story and nature. I love that about some of Nintendo's games, I can be strategical -- without going to war. This kind of made me want to dive into Pikmin 2... I was one of those crazy fools who just picked it up at first just because it was Final Fantasy, despite knowing that it was a strategy game. I wish I had more patience for this game to play longer, it seemed pretty epic for a strategy RPG!
Well once you know or learn the lyrics it's actually really nice to have something entertaining to look at when singing.

I hate skipping into a sequel when I haven't played the first to completion, but it got so repetitive halfway through! Everyone seems to be saying otherwise for AC2 though. Do I go back and finish AC1 or just jump into AC2...
My expectations are low for games like GoW. All they need is fun boss battles and I'm in!

Phantom Hourglass didn't impress me either, but I blindly went in and totally agree with Snarkasaur. A HUGE surprise and just plain dawggone fuuun.

That type of review was really fun! I think it's interesting and you get a lot of useful perspective out of it. Even a little tidbit of difference in experience from the PC vs 360 a la the graphics and such.
Interesting point, but it is going to be in the 10-15 hour range. Might be a little tiring to pull one of those!

God this game is just buck wild. They are going all out, I love it, and it doesn't feel shameless at all with the various adult content. I can't wait to experience the full story. I bought my PS3 for this, it's impossible for it NOT to deliver. I was a ridiculous fan of Indigo Prophecy and this just builds on that experience ten-fold.
