Only mythical creates visit mythical lands. So I guess you don't exist! Which means neither do sports. Hey-o. Baseball is the last running important sport. :D
Steroid tetris! Crack... *_*
I am stoked to play this, I'm really glad you got it for me. I will be needing an RPG fix over the Summer when I'm lonely and need virtual friends. Hopefully this will do the trick.
This game has some of the most epic boss fights I think I've ever encountered since the fight to break out of the womb.
Xbox 360 controller! It improves on comfort past all the generations.
Argh I am so torn about this one. Lost in Nightmares I want, but I'm hearing such mixed stuff about Desperate Escape. I'll probably just end up buying both though, for fan sake. I mean $5 for content vs $60 for a 9 hour-ish game (if it's your first run) to me is pretty fair, so I might just indulge.
Woot! I'm glad it didn't score below an 8, just cuz it steals from GoW doesn't make it a bad game and it has plenty to let it stand afloat on its own two feet to be worth an 8 or higher. Good job!
If you're good at one you're probably good at all of them, it's really similar mechanics and combos stay the same. I think SFA3 is pretty sweet and quite possibly awesome, but I don't know about "the best" - that's a big claim!
I had it on GameCube, it's hella fun and I can only imagine it's even better on the Wii. (That's one of the miniscule times you'll hear that come out of my mouth. I don't compliment the Wii much.) The balance board being the only upgrade with this one, sucking, is kinda disappointing. T_T
I like the comment you made about some of the art being beautiful enough that you'd want to see it framed on the wall. The battle system DOES seem a little complicated on paper, but I tend to like that in an RPG sometimes. But my core element for an RPG is story, which as you describe it is not very enjoyable. Although the Creation/Destroy characters seem interesting. If that were fleshed out I'd probably have been closer to buying it.
That's the most disappointing aspect of a game, when the controls itself are broken. u_u Sounds like a waste because not many games give you the feeling of really "solving" it yourself, too, you usually feel strung along in a lined up scenario where you just do X to proceed to Y.
Aw the sprites look just like they did in RO! <3
Damn, The Show is pretty much the best sports franchise out there right now. Beast. I love my new MLB 10 Yankees PSN theme. :D
Hm, the small amount of combat isn't enough to turn me away, I'm actually eager to just have a bit of oldschool RE puzzle action.
Damn, that just feels so bizarre -- looking forward to loading screens, that alone makes me laugh.
I guess, it gets a lot of DMC comparisons, but I like the whole premise of her character as a whole a bit more in a way than Dante.
Damn, this is useful. /bookmark for when I pick up BS2.
I haven't heard of many genre-specific podcasts or niche podcasts really at all now that I think about it. Good call team.
It'll be interesting to play through the eyes of a Big Papi.
PAX is for bringing the everyman gamer together. E3 will be for the business-suited folks. And that panel Girls in Games at PAX -- Re: The question that the panelists dodged about how to bring more girls into the community and eliminate sexism/objectification? Push both more men and women who have never been to a convention to go to one. It'll do wonders for perspective!
