I agree with Heavy Rain, its definatly my GOTY and I'm buying Move just to replay it. I just wish QD would release some more DLC as the Taxidermist was pretty epic. I know they said they won't, but one can dream, right?
Mirror's Edge 2 (I just want anything! even if it is just a teaser), GTAV (because I know Rockstar can give us a GTA thats better than IV), The Getaway, Starhawk, Eight Days and Resident Evil 6.
I know its an opinion, but IGN really aren't helping themselves.
Nathan fillion. I'm done justifying it, you should all know by now he IS the best man for the job.
Its an opinion, they can score it whatever they like. You have your opinion, they have theirs and I have mine.
Lets not forget 2007! The likes of Uncharted made me a happy panda!
Its true that top end PCs are more powerful than the likes of the PS3 and 360, but lets not forget that games (especially multiplats) are usually designed with the lowest denominator in mind (although I applaud games that use the PS3 as the lead), i.e. the 360, so the PC is actually held back. Crysis, as beautiful as it is, can only be run to the max on top spec PCs, and even then, its not really a next-gen game. The hardware is there, but until the PS4 and the next Xbox come out, we won'...
Yeah, I guess I was just taking the UK into consideration, but yeah, parents are more likely to take the price into consideration than kids and if they see a few Mario games etc. They're more likely to blind buy without much research into the other two consoles. Also, due to the hype they probably think "this console is really popular I must get this for my kids!".
The Wii isn't twice as cheap. The PS3 is roughly £235 (for the 160GB model) whilst the Wii (white) is £165. Thats a difference of £70. Hell, I've seen 120GB PS3s being sold for £200 at Sainsburys a few months ago.
That said the reason I see the Wii selling is because its a console which, in my opinion, caters more for younger audiences with family titles and casual gamers; not to mention the hype that was generated for it.
The Wii ...
Its got to be said that Fillion>Wahlberg and Butler.
Fillion isn't even that old, he can still pull off the early/mid thirties look and have his hair dyed.
Not only does he act like Drake, he has a similiar voice. In Firefly, hes basically Captain Drake.
Is there even a need to compare line ups? I think everyone here knows which console has the best line up. *Cough* PS3 *cough*
It will happen, eventually. Square-Enix know its one of the most asked for titles, and being the money hungry company that they are, they'll release it.
Heavy Rain is my GOTY I think. I'm definatly considering buying Move with some Christmas cash just so I can replay it with a twist.
Things have really changed this gen, I mean, EA have actually earned my respect by releasing quality titles i.e. Mirror's Edge, BFBC2 and Dead Space etc. Whereas Activision have just gone down the toilet in every way. My favourite Activision games this gen are Transformers WFC and 007 Blood Stone. I guess COD4 was pretty decent too, but it did annoy me.
Sometimes I think you post to make us laugh, because that was quite funny 4cough.
Better post some serious stuff in future though, or else people will start thinking you're actually for real.
I guess people have a soft spot for this guy.
This arguement is getting annoying now.
I played the demo last night and I enjoyed it; it took me some getting used to as I have Mass Effect on the PC, and despite some screen tearing and juttering of my character when I run, the game looks fantastic, nothing like those screen caps posted on those comparison sites. There wasn't too much lightning and nothing was washed out like those sites would want you to believe. This game is a day one buy for me.
I'm surprised he didn't burn down an orphanage whilst he was at it. I hope he has a nice Christmas in prison...
Whos sad enough to even want to complain about something like this?
Now I wish I'd waited. :(
