The PS3 version was always going to be better, even Square-Enix said themselves way back in 2006 that Blu-Ray was a huge help to them. Despite the game being held back by the 360's limitations I will still buy it as the story interests me, and I haven't played a Final Fantasy since Crisis Core.
Square-Enix messed up, but I'll still buy FFXIII. Hopefully Versus will have explorable towns, have NPCS and not be too linear.
I couldn't think of anyone worse to advertise this game with.
Also, Xtreampro, I don't know what you're smoking, but whatever it is, I want some; maybe then I'll see Killzone 5 and Resistance 6 before anyone else.
Hopefully they'll release some of those epic Uncharted jungle locations after this. It really showcased the PS3's capabilities and it would be great to play those areas.
Lets wait until E3 before we talk about Sony and Microsoft's gaming arsenal.
There are probably lots of uncomfirmed games on both platforms for this year, so sit back, relax and wait for those gaming gems to arrive. (Heavy Rain to name one)
Good review, day one buy for me!
It's annoying that multiplatform game adverts tend to have only the Xbox 360 logo appear after them. Unfortunatly, Microsoft waves their cheque book at these companies so they only display their logo...
I actually think NFS Shift is a great game and I had a ton of fun playing it and tuning up my cars.
The NFS franchise definatly needed a reboot, and Shift was the game to do it.
I think this guy is still living in 2007, because in the year 2010, the PSN has a lot of good games.
This is exactly how I expected Square-Enix to respond. Claim to have no knowledge of how these photoshopped screens made it in their presskit and treat us like gullible fools.
BFBC2 is much better than MW2 in my opinion, it's not some run and gun shooter, it's more realistic. It has a better atmosphere, great visuals and awesome physics. This makes it a day one buy for me, loving the demo so far.
This looks great, hopefully Eddy Raja will be included in this.
I won't be getting it as I'll be playing Heavy Rain, but I will get it eventually when I return to UC2, as it's great fun.
Gotta love those announcements about announcements.
Besides, this is just hype. GamesRadar won't announce anything big, my guesses are that Sony will hold off all their big announcements until E3.
The Church of England make me lol, RFOM controversy anyone?
Lets be honest, Square-Enix don't want to make the 360 version seem a bit inferior visually before it comes out, so thats why they photoshopped the PS3 screens.
A good score from GT, day one buy for me.
I will agree that the character movement can get a little annoying at times, but it's something that will grow on you, as experienced by playing the demo a few times.
I think this game has a ton of replay value, I'll definatly be playing more than once just to get different outcomes. When I watch films, I often think of what would happen if he/she did something different.
Heavy Rain a 7? oh Edge, you never dissapoint.
Games that I think should be trophy patched: RFOM, MGS4 and Folklore. Especially MGS4.
The PS3 has done very well, and it'll continue to do well right up until the PS4. Will it beat the Wii in sales figures? I doubt it, but it will continue to gain a bigger market share; and with all these games coming out i.e. Heavy Rain and GT5, I can see this will be a great year for the PS3, and for gamers.
It's good to hear that they're working on it again. I just hope we see some new material at E3.
I'm looking forward to this game, I hope we get a new trailer or news at E3.
