Well when Mistwalker started, Microsoft contracted them to make games on the 360 (Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey) and after that they became free and Sakaguchi decided to put the Blue Dragon sequels on the DS and then Nintendo contracted Mistwalker to do a game for the Wii (if I'm not mistaken) and the Last Story was born.

So Sony only needs to do is contact Mistwalker and make arrangements, I don't think any personal hate will affect business.

But for ...

@Xof

You must have missed my second post then.

For me its too early to judge this lack of support issue since Sony seems to have plans to add the PSOne support and more PSP titles down the line. If down by then we see none of these, then we can declare its bullshittyness.

As for the propriety thing, it has been a problem of Sony for a long time but if it worked on the 360, then just follow the business that works. Sad to say this is not a cha...

Meh I totally forgot that the PSOne support for the Vita is not yet ready yet this time but they do plan to support it, it seems.

So we'll just have to wait for future updates.

If I'm not mistaken you can play the PS1 games that are available on PSN on a PS Vita and Sony has already rolled out a number of compatible PSP games for the Vita as well (and plans to expand it).

So I'm not sure if you can consider that a lack of support, maybe not enough from what some are expecting this early in the Vita's life cycle.

And at this point in time, it should be logical for the cheaper PSP with a huge library to beat the PS Vita i...

You don't need to worry Ken Katuragi is no longer designing the next Playstation console and Sony has learned its lesson with the PS3 and by the looks of things with the PS Vita, Sony will probably make all their future consoles more dev friendly.

Darn, it got pushed back :(

I think the main point of the article was the difference in response by the media and the community in regards to the respective hacks.

Well if they're not going to remake FFVII at least they should try to bring over Before Crisis and remaster that on a console somewhere, I want to play as the Turks. :)

I agree, a lot more apps will really go along way. It will definitely justify the purchase considerably.

And the PS Vita is also covered under warranty and if this is found to be a product defect then it will fall under the same category.

So if you could care less about something like the RROD, why does the PS Vita issue seems so big of a concern of yours?

Sounds like a lot spin to me.

And how big is the percentage by the way? Is this issue like the YLOD or the RROD? Is it something that cannot be fixed or has no solution?

You have to weigh the problem at hand.

I'm sorry for those who are affected but over blowing the problem is just as worse, as the one you claim.

So the reason that the 3 major retailers in Australia ain't stocking the Vita is because Sony decided not to?...

@MultiConsoleGamer (above)

Yes, please do tell. :)

I think Sony priced it as such, so they can have a much more flexible pricing option without sacrificing the profits if they do make the price drop down the line.

And I agree if Sony can nail it with the digital pricing of their games then bring out some PS Suite games and free apps, that could very well justify the current pricing for early adopters.

Sony can't win against the frugal gamers but you can make them want the Vita with the right software in p...

The saddest thing about all this, is that the rumor came from Japan's Nikkei newspaper (the one that reports on Japanese financials and stuff) and not some gaming website.

I guess newspapers needs to become tabloids now to sell and get hits as well. :/

Because its about Sony responding to the rumor and not about the rumor.

Well I hope they do localize this Suikoden game, even if its downloadable only and not part of the True Rune saga, its still Suikoden.

5238d ago 2 agree2 disagreeView comment

I think it was Level-5's call regarding the localization for other EU languages.

Wow I'm starting to believe a lot of members here regarding gamingbolt. Not only is the title misleading (forgetting to mention Q2013 is for Europe) but it also said Ni No Kuni commercially bombed in Japan, when Level-5 only released a few copies of it given that there was already an NDS version out almost a year in advance.

Unbelievable lack of information there to make such accusations.
