The would bankrupt Sony faster than the money being bleed by their TV division... the Vita cost $150 to make, $79 and $99 makes no sense.
That's already on its way, so we don't have to worry about that. We just need to wait for it to be release~ :)
If Xseed makes more money out of it and continues to localize great JRPGs for us, then I'm all for it.
I played the demo and Kat is nothing like Sailormoon.
Kat does transform (sort of) to do her special attack and glows when she uses her gravity powers but she doesn't have a costume like Sailormoon.
Sailormoon on the other hand does not need Luna to do her special attack and doesn't do any actual physical fighting like Kat does.
So I think your off if your comparing Kat to Sailormoon.
Xseed for the win! Oh hell yeah~ I don't have to worry about importing the game anymore :D
Sony should really move the Digital comics reader to the Vita and I hope they get the Youtube app out soon too~
Oh I never thought of that one, thanks for the tip.
Right now Sony can do multiple things to make the Vita work:
- A steady roll out of PS Vita games (both 1st & 3rd party)
- Make those PSOne classic games work.
- More free apps to justify the purchase. (Youtube please)
- Continue to work with the indie devs and bring out those PS Suite games.
- Advertise Remote Play and make it work.
These are just to name a few on what Sony can do and I think the wide net gives Sony more o...
I agree~
All I'm waiting for is the Youtube app and that would make my day :)
Not available in my country. lol!

The 3DS was also broken down and found out to only cost around $101 on each machine but Ninty still lost money (last year) even when they are selling the 3DS at $180 and $249 at launch.
So clearly there is a lot of things to consider when you are a manufacturer of hardware devices.
I don't think Sony can dethrone Ninty when it comes to handheld consoles. I don't think anyone can do it unless its a smartphone and they're not exactly on the same market.
Valkyria Chronicles 3 and Akibara Trip should be localize even if they become PSN download only.
To the gamers that are saying the PSP had a lack of support, that is both somewhat true and false.
It had great support at the beginning of its life cycle but once the perfect jailbreak by Dark Alex was released and couldn't be stopped by any firmware update, the 3rd party devs abandoned the PSP.
Only a few 3rd party devs continued to publish games at the end of its life cycle.
As for the lack of 2nd analog stick, well no one really under...
Zelda is one of the great gaming franchises that has withstood time. I don't see it fading away anytime soon.
Can't wait! Hopefully Ninty releases this in NA too like Xenoblade.
@The Killer
Well don't get caught up by the haters and fanboys, selling around (especially the near ones) 1 million copies world wide isn't a flop.
Historically outside of Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest and Monster Hunter, JRPGs rarely sell in 1 million mark (world wide).
There has been exceptions (outside of those titles) but more than likely JPRGs are not an automatic million sellers, not even in Japan and even more-so in this generati...
If its only the price that is stopping you then you don't need to worry since traditionally console prices goes down in time and with every succeeding sku.
@DragonKnight (below)
The 3DS actually sold well at $250, no one really complained about the price even when it was found out that it only took $101 to make a 3DS.
The complaint back then was the lack of games and that's the one that took the sales of the 3DS down. Ninty brought t...
