The best way to go about this is either wait for a complete edition (if it happens) or wait for the price of the game to drop (which will happen). Then buy the DLC(s) which sometimes goes on special sales.
I found this to be the best way, not to feel guilty of being taken advantage of by the publishers when it comes to games with a lot of DLC(s).
And a guy, lets not forget that part. lol!
^I think developers are now using ports as their gateway in learning how to make games for a new hardware, without investing a lot of money doing so.
I would be surprise if this port trend continues, seeing as there is the Remote Play feature and the planned PS3/PSV Cross-content initiative.
And the prices will go down eventually, its the nature of the console business. So it won't be a barrier for long but Sony still needs to bring more free apps and PSV...
That's why don't bunch the loud minority with the entire fanbase. Its insulting.
Especially if the complaint comes from the haters themselves (their history will show) and that makes it even harder to swallow.
And yes intent has everything to do with it because the moderate fans (the majority) still gets to vote and if your sole intent is to attack, discredit or downplay then you will sway even that group against you but if you post in a respectable m...
Edit: Just to be clear, I'm not disagreeing with you on anything, I just wanted to explain what happened on the PSP to some extent. ^^
Actually the PSP pretty much got in trouble with piracy (software wise), before it became widespread there where a couple of games that sold over a million copies on the PSP and there where 3rd party developers making games for it.
After piracy became widespread the 3rd party devs abandoned the PSP (especially the western ...
Oh please your not getting carried by the loud minority too are you? As you say fanboys will be fanboys but they do not represent the entire fanbase because if they do then all of the Sony fanboys here will have more bubbles than you or me.
And making a point for fans about defending their preferred product is just ridiculous because a lot of this is mostly based on opinions and that goes for MS fans, Apple fans or Nintendo fans. Everyone is guilty of it, not just Sony fans. ...
Please localize Tales of Innocence: R (Bamco) and Valkyria Chronicles III (Sega) and I will gladly give you my money~
You lost me in the wrong audience part, kindly explain.
@PimpDaddy (below)
But a lot of PS3 fanboys are also bubbled down, its not what side your on, its what you say. So please don't drag the entire fanbase down for the faults of the loud minority.
Lol! I don't think that's the right age demographic ^^;
But what you just said is already the end of dedicated handheld gaming... adding a phone function to it makes it a smartphone. lol!
The prices of the console goes down, even when a new and improve sku comes out, same cannot be said for smartphones or tablets. So the excuse that the Vita is overpriced (an opinion) is temporary and not permanent. Not really a solid reason against it.
Sony has said they are open to put their games on smartphones. The Xperia is a...
So after all the doom and gloom articles aimed at the Vita (The 3DS before that) they're changing their target and is aiming at the Wii U now.
Can't the gaming industry take a break on all this negativity when the console(s) in question is either not released yet or hasn't been on the market for a good period of time.
Sorry but I don't play app games, I do see why people like them because you don't invest too much time on them but I prefer my gaming to have deeper experience, if I can bring my console gaming on the go then I prefer that.
Sony has to kill Xperia first before they do a PS Vita phone, its the logical step forward but the Vita was not made for the phone market.
There is Skype on the Vita btw, in a sense it can make calls.
Oh yeah the i...
I'm still hoping for Valkyria Chronicles III to be localized for the PSV. ^^
Your bank account is next. lol!
If this new COD is part of Sony's "one price" Vita/PS3 cross-play content scheme, then they may have something going here.
This game is starting to catch my attention~
True but to my understanding he only wants to play games and not make word documents. So there's no really point in carrying an all in one device, when a dedicated handheld gaming device is all he needs.
You can browse on the Vita btw.
Me too, our internet infrastructure just sux.
My internet speed either goes down or gets disconnected when it rains and a lot of our lines are still copper and not fiber optics.
It will be the future but it will definitely hurt a lot of gamers in the developing countries if we go all digital. I think both physical and digital has a place in this market.
I would add Valkyria Chronicles III to that list ^^
Localize Persona 4: The Golden! Yes please~!!! :)
