I'd get the 8GB for just an extra $10 from the 4GB price. Over all this official pricing is better than the speculative prices leaked earlier.
I don't see a price for the extra external battery though...
I thought they already have plans for (or is) localizing Type-0? :(
As for FFXV, I don't know how I feel about that since I've yet to see FFXIIIVs. :/
If Sony can get those PS Suite games out, get the Remote Play feature going and advertise the social features of the device to the casual consumers. Then the PS Vita can probably meet or surpass expectations.
Right now everything is in Sony's court. The machine itself is great and it looks like the games are there to follow but the follow through strategy by Sony will be key to its success.

I think they only have 700k in Japan for the rest of the year. Next shipments will probably be at the start of Jan 2012 to accommodate their 4th qtr shipments which will probably include the world wide release.

Then that means the report of Sony shipping an extra 200k to retailers is wrong? That means they only have like 175k to last them for the rest of the year. I'm not sure that's enough before they can send out their next shipment.

You should know by now not to trust any gaming journalism with incomplete or speculative reports and always wait for the actual hard data to come out from reliable sources.

Gaming journalism where a lot of fail reporting happens.
I won't be surprise if the same guy takes Microsoft to court for the very same thing since MS issued the same kind of ToS a few weeks back.
They should because the remote play will probably be the most important feature of the PSV because no other device has that feature that lets you play your console games from your handheld device.
I don't really think you should rely on the journalistic prowess of the gaming media. They tend to exaggerate things like the loud minority.
I mean this headline states Sony said an apology without linking to it and is taking all this so-called firestorm of angry adopters from Twitter... not exactly a credible place to get your information on how severe or light this actual problem is.

They could have made their jobs easier if they:
-Just didn't touch the original character design and the origin of Dante and then rebooted the series.
or
-Could have just said this is set in an alternate universe from the beginning because they don't want to be insensitive to the fans of DMC by totally disregarding the original universe.

You do realize this is made by an American politician and is supported by American based companies of both foreign and local origin right? I doubt it has anything to do of being an Asian company or not.
I've worked with retail before and as far as I know, you never remove an item because your not sure of its release date, especially when there is no official cancellation from the manufacturer and when customers have already started placing pre-orders for it.
Either someone made a mistake or someone isn't telling the truth here.
But either way I'm taking the actions of GameStop with a grain of salt since their incorrect PS Vita memory pricing does...
