Good article. I encountered an elitist once, a former co-worker.
Me and my buddy was talking about Shinmegami Tensai: Persona and he went a butt in and said "Which Shinmegami? There is a lot of them".
I was so pissed at his tone I already knew where this conversation was going so I said "Are you deaf? I said Persona! Which Shinmegami game didn't you hear me say?" he shut up after that. XD
Yes please with sugar on top! XD
The only problem is Yu Suzuki the creator of Shenmue is leaving Sega to develop his own studio YS NET. :(
@bacano
Your not alone regarding BoF. I'd love to see a new Sakura Taisen, Suikoden, Grandia, Skies of Arcadia and boat loads of other JRPGs that deserves a sequel.
Edit: I got a disagree.. not much love for JRPGs around here ;_;
Don't worry Kiryu and Haruka will be back. These guys don't call themselves Yakuza team for nothing.
They're just doing what the Persona team did. ;)
Maybe they where already facing the console backwards. lol! XD
Thank you for explaining your article but you miss one fundamental point.
Sony is a hardware developer their strategy is to make products for each market and sometimes their products unintentionally do affect the other market.
Just like the iPhone affected the sales of the iPod and the iPad on the Mac notebooks. This things happen.
So to say Sony is shooting themselves in the foot when they are completely doing what other hardware manufacture...
How can Sony shoot themselves in the foot with the PS3 and PSV when the people buying the PSV will probably already have a PS3...
Not to mention the PSV is being advertised to have connectivity with the PS3.
After the Ninty made the price drop to the 3DS and it started selling now everyone else is turning to Sony and the PSV for their doom and gloom article. Will the dedicated handheld market ever catch a break from these guys?
Agreed.
As long as they give Shepard a convincing good ending in 3. I think the fans won't mind playing a new hero in the future.
Sadly Spyro's IP is owned by Activision ;_;

We may never see it ever again ><
Level-5 hasn't let me down with their JRPGs: Rogue Galaxy, Jeanne d'Arc, White Knight Chronicles just to name a few.
I'm really hoping to see Ni no Kuni (PS3) localized in the future. :)
Why shouldn't Forza be Gran Turismo's toughest opponent and vice versa? When they make each other better by competition.
All I can say is both games are great and this rivalry is good for us gamers in the end.
I think MS should not really try hard to sell Kinect to the core because in the end the core will probably buy Kinect not for themselves but for their family.
I mean I'm a core gamer but I would love to see my siblings elbow each other while playing a worthy Kinect game. XD
Sony has a strong presence in Asia. They enjoy a strong foothold here even if the market is slow to pick up their products.
Of course there won't be any price cut anytime soon. MS is going to wait and see if the PS3 price cut affects their sales.
There is no reason to jump the gun when you have a sku that still sells at a cheaper price point.
Binary Domain and Anarchy Reigns looks good :D
BUT!
Where is my localization of Valkyria Chronilces 3... Q_Q
You can make it for the Vita just bring it over... ><
Not sure if the question was serious...? :/
It would seem a lot of people are avoiding this article for obvious reasons. lol!
^ This.
I mean HS is not a bad game but DMC was built and made by how it plays just replacing that with something else is the worse thing you can do than remaking the character.
RE5 all over again much?
When its not broken please don't fix it or change it ><
Even if the PS3 outsells the 360 this year that 4M lead at this juncture in the console race life cycle will be hard to catch up/overtake unless EU and Asian sales overlaps or matches NA sales.
newleaf is placing a safe bet he knows that one year lead and the Kinect love in NA is enough this generation to keep Sony at bay.
"BUY YAKUZA SERIES YOU WON'T REGRET IT"
^ I endorse what this gamer is saying :D
