I ain't taking away anything from Ninty but "Owe" is a big word to throw around. You give that to your parents.
We give them respect for products they've shared with us through out the years but we don't owe them nothing because we do not have any moral obligation to them.

Not only that, Sony put a lot of tech on Vita to make it feel and look different from the PSP.
So if "your not in the know" and you look at a PSP and a PSV you will right away know the difference but if you look at a DS and a 3DS you may think your only getting 3D and an 1 analog control and think its an upgraded DS like a DS lite or DSXL which of course its not.
Do we owe MS for Windows? No. Do we owe Sony for the Walkman? No.
Both of those where innovative and revolutionary and has made a great impact in our daily lives. Same with Nintendo products but they are not exactly our founding Fathers that built a country and made sure that anyone who lives there has the freedom to make his/her life better.
We respect their business, we like their products and we buy and use them if its justified. That's about it.
To put it in a simple perspective. You play on the console where your friends are at and where your preferred games are getting released on.
If the game doesn't sell then it doesn't but that doesn't mean you shouldn't buy the games that appeals to you.
In the end sales only matter to the guys who makes a living out of them and the fanboys who doesn't make a living out of them.
Games matter to the gamers.

I think the barrier for new players is the number of Giaden KH has on the handhelds.
If its a spin-off with no connection I think it will be easier to avoid but if it has a connection in any shape or form one may feel the need to play it and for a beginner it may be too daunting.

You should finish V my friend its way better than IV. V takes place a few years before I (with some connections to some characters), so its like a prequel so to speak but not decades in the past like IV -_-...
If you have a DS avoid Tierkreis that thing or whatever Konami likes to call it doesn't follow the main story or even happens in the same reality as the previous ones. It was an insult playing that game -_-...
