Will the console industry evolve? sure it will. Will it die out? I doubt it. When technology makes leaps and bounds there is an industry that will take a hit but its hardly a nail in a coffin especially if that technology can help evolve that said industry.

The games this gen has been awesome, I will definitely agree on that.

The community however has been populated by fanboys of all walks of life from consoles fanboys, PC fanboys, hackers fanboys, anti-anime fanboys... etc... making this generation one of the most polarizing ever, community wise.

And don't forget the tweeners online who screams a lot. sheez...

I can actually see people buying this then keeping the laptop and selling the PS3. Most of the people who took the MS deal did the same. Unless they don't have the console to begin with.

I'm not really sure buying a studio is in MS strategy.

They didn't buy Bungie instead Bungie went to EA.

They didn't buy Remedy after Alan Wake and if the rumors are correct probably won't support another Alan Wake game from Remedy either.

The best MS studio is Rare and they are doing Kinect games even Lionhead studio's next Fable is Kinect. So I'm not sure any core game developers would want to even jump at MS right n...

I don't promote for anyone to play the latest incarnation of a connected series when they haven't played any of the previous ones because the gamer will just feel detached.

I think this is why most younger gamers doesn't understand how great Metal Gear Solid really is.

This of course doesn't include the haters you'll never satisfy those.

Kojima couldn't kill Snake he views Snake as himself inside a video game. He has multiple times tried to kill MGS by saying he was going to retire after every incarnation but the money is still good and needs to be milked. lol!

Besides Konami would lose a huge chunk of its income if Kojima stops making MGS and since his production team is under Konami, well you know what's coming. More sequels.

We're getting great games people enjoy that instead.

You don't need a cross game chat to play games, that's just a poor excuse right there to advertise your favored console.

I think Motion gaming is here to stay as long as the devs doesn't continue to forcefully shove it up in our face by making core games into a motion only game but rather an option then I can live with it.

Let motion games be the games for casual. Leave the core games alone and we can have peace.

If the likes of the Cannes Film Festival consider Porn an art then by all means gaming should be considered too.

It actually makes me miss LAN gaming where you can trash talk with the people your playing in real life. lol!
