You know how it works. It's a PS3 game so all flaws no matter how minor must be pointed out. Mario Kart and Mario games are perfect no matter what.They probably just open the envolope of cash Nintendo sends with their copy of a Mario game and then give the score. I mean seriously, the last Mario game on the DS was one of the suckiest Mario games ever (especially with the almost useless mushrooms that made you gigantic and mini Mario) but it still got a perfect score.
The develop time is so to a factor. When a game is in development for to long it's graphics, ideas and concepts get stale. Other games come out that do better what you were trying to do years before. Your game starts to look dated and less impressive then it did before. Also you would think a game that was in development for so long would be glitch free and have better animation in simple things like walking and jumping.
I may be wrong but from what i have seen, the Natal looks like it can't move fast enough for games that require quick movement. I can't see it being used when you have to think fast or aim quickly. It's looks even worse for sports games like Baseball where you have to hit with precision and accuracy. This whole Natal thing look like it was made for strategy games and menus. It might be worth a look. After all Condemned was a misunderstood game that tried the whole first person punch and kick mechanic and did pretty will with it.
The main problem with the Natal is that if it doesn't work perfectly it could could completly ruin the experience. With the Move controller you have a point of referance. The Eye will most likely beable to recognize the Move controller. Why does everyone take offense whenever Alan Wake gets a score lower then 10? It is a good game, just not the blockbuster, epic, GOTY game that everyone hyped it to be. But who cares? Infamous and Motorstorm made similar scores and were still a blast to play.
No offense to Xbox 360 owners but from what I have observed from most people who own a 360, creativity is not a usual trait. Look at most of their games. Imagination and creativity isn't exactly encouraged rather kill everything that moves.
they already said you can import all your levels, creations and downloads from the first game, so keep you game save.
