It cause me to double post!! :{
...just a hardware showpiece. Dragon games traditionally don't sell consoles...or even sell well at all... as they're in a niche genre. It's why we haven't seen a sequal to such great games as 'Panzer Dragoon:Orta' or 'Drakan: The Ancient's Gates'.
...what exactly is so great about DX10 again? :/
This looks like 'WOW', with sub-Oblivion character models....not exactly impressive.
In fact, if anything, this "stigma" belongs with the pc, instead of the 360. I could just as easily ask: "Why would I bother upgrading my pc, or buy a new rig, spending $500-$1500...when I can spend $300-$400 and be set for the next 4-5 years with a 360 ?"
But I DON'T ask that question, because I understand the pc market is SEPARATE from the console market, with only a small % of gamers doing both. It's called freedom of choice: if you like keyboard/mouse, you g...
"Do you always quote other peoples comments? Thats kinda weird dude. Check the second comment at the linked site. Haha. "
'Death' is me, you dork.... I posted that, AFTER I posted here, and even added to it.
Jesus F*cking Christ, this place is infested with morons. :o
"This is no different from Sony making money of the PS2 while the PS3 sits on shelves. You, and a lot of Heavy Xbox supporters have critized Sony for this. But really, that is no different than MS making money off of PC games instead of 360 games. So you have conflicting views, in Microsoft's favor. I'm not surprised"
NO DIFFERENT?!! It's ENTIRELY different; the PS2 is a 7 y.o. last-gen console, that was obsolete, technology-wise, the day it went on sale; Sony has been m...
They don't NEED to get the pc crowd to migrate...they get their $$ EITHER WAY. This is a cut-and-dry ADVANTAGE over Sony....NOT a "stigma".
...Microsoft IS the PC platform. And, they aren't "ports", when they're being developed simultaneously for both platforms; a port is typically done later, sometimes 6 months to a year after the console or pc release.
Typical Sony fanboy stupidity. Or is it jealousy?
...the added motion crap is just typical EA bullsh*t fluff; it won't make the game any better/worse.
I will say that it had some of the most intense gunfights ever put into a game, and the targeting while taking cover, worked about as well as Red Dead Revolver and Manhunt (both from Rockstar).
No, GRAW was still based off the XBOX/PS2 hardware, and used a modified last-gen engine (just like they modified the Chaos Theory engine for SC:DA). The 360 version looked a lot better, but only due to better explosions, and higher poly counts and texture quality. R6:V is also based off of last gen, but it's still quite a bit better than GRAW, IMO.
You're quite the comedian. :D
MS has 'LIVE Anywhere', which will allow select PC/360 games to be joined via LIVE. However, you will NEVER see a cross-platform (PC is still technically a MS platform)online venture, simply because of the great disparity in online strategies. Sony can't even COPY what LIVE has to offer, let alone come up with a way to integrate with it.
Sorry, but your "logic" is tragically flawed. :o
...online arena battles, like the arena in Oblivion.
1.) PCs are widely used for playing games....likely more than for business.
2.) This story was posted ON A GAMING WEBSITE.
3.) Don't pretend to know anything about my "world", son; I've seen and/or dealt with more sh1t in my life already, than most would in their lifetime.
I'm a tad disappointed though; as long as it's been in development, we should've seen something in-game (gameplay) by now. I'm sure this is at least in-engine, but it's obviously a cutscene.
You telling me no gamer ever did drugs? :o
I hope it wasn't some crazed fanboy, upset over a bad game review. :o
...you must be smarter than I thought. ;)
...for Ubisoft to make a TRUE next-gen shooter, that isn't based off the PS2 hardware, and/or their last-gen engines. So far, Assassin's Creed looks to be their only real next-gen offering.
Sony tried to pull their "only possible with the power of PS3" bullsh1t, while Ubisoft continued to stay mum on the 360. Then, we finally get confirmation of the PC/360 versions....which actually were in development all along...AND the very first footage we see, is ON THE 360.
So far, I'd say everything we've seen of this game, came from PC/360 assets.
If they are aware of the error messages, and are working to resolve the problems, they at least owe us an explanation and an estimate on when it will be fixed.
