1.) The PS3 SUPPOSEDLY has processing power TO SPARE....if you believe Sony's BS that is.
2.) The "artistic choice" was made almost 2 years ago, when they were about 1/2 done with the PC/360 versions. Do you really think this is anything more than a port? They didn't have to create any new art for the PS3 version, I can assure you.
That was simply typical Bethesda and their sloppy programming; it had nothing to do with the 360 hardware.....and you can expect similar glitches on the PS3.
So far, the PS3's Blu-Ray drive has proven to be very inefficient, and the 256 MB DRAM isn't helping either. Most devs can't manage Sony's goal of 1080p and/or 60 fps....without MAJOR sacrifices.
MS has proven they can do more with less, even if it means a few extra discs (nobody's been complaining about Blue Dragon). With the far-superior XNA development environment, and support, combined with cutting-edge compression technology (see 'Roboblitz'), they are completely on the right ...
...I suppose you're about as smart as EVERY OTHER "analyst" we've read opinions from over the past several months. :D

...and the 360 version looks better. I suppose by trying to improve the background render speeds, they had to sacrifice some detail.
Dusty, if you allow this to go through, I will pay to have this site hacked and your servers destroyed.
I take it you don't like games, if you haven't played your 360 in that long. Hell, Gears, Rainbow Six Vegas, Lost Planet, Viva Pinata and Roboblitz have been plenty to keep me happy for the past few months.
There you have it, people....now shut the f*ck up about it being a Gears mod. It's not even using UE3.
...this game would likely never get made anyway.
Have you guys seen the Half-life 3 engine yet? haha...goodbye Unreal."
NOBODY has seen Valve's new engine....the pics that have been circulating for the past several months are all fake (actually, the last ones were ACTUAL PHOTOS of Russian underground tunnels).
Wikis are provided by ill-informed punks like yourself, who are too lazy to do real research, or keep up with things on your own.
EVERYONE knows Lost Planet is using UE3, and RTW purchased UE3 for their APB game, and are rumored to be incorporating it into Crackdown as well. Microsoft hasn't officially announced Shadowrun's use of UE3, but my buddy Bill Greene at EPIC confirmed it awhile back.
As for Army of Two, I listed that without thinking, because CasualGamer ha...
You're right, many people don't realize just how many devs have already bought, or are buying into UE3 (for about $1 million per licensed copy). The list of UE3 powered games, either released, in development, or announced, is pretty astounding:
-Gears of War (Duh)
-Too Human
-Lost Planet
-Mass Effect
-Stranglehold
-Brothers in Arms: Hells Highway
-Army of Two
-Rogue Warrior
-Elveon
-UT2007 (Duh again)
-Lost ...
"Zootfly throws down the gauntlet
Posted on January 12, 2007
Two days ago, Slovenian video game developer, Zootfly, sneak-released a couple of videos onto YouTube, sans explaination - best guess is that they amount to them expressing an interest in a Ghostbusters game (as they featured concept art in a company precis - see below for the art.)
Currently, as PC understands it, nobody holds the licence to make a GB game, so it’s not known if this...
They haven't show ANYTHING since that lame-ass teaser with the Spidey in-game model. Treyarch is one of the worst devs on the planet....they even managed to f*ck up COD3.
...though Bethesda has yet to make it "official", and declines comment.
This, like Killzone 2, has ZERO chance of making a July release.
...which was a port of the XBOX version, with some added graphical and gameplay elements. Other than the one extra area to explore, and the pointless Sixaxis functionality, it will be EXACTLY like the 360 version. Still, it was a fun game...I still own it.
I thought the backgrounds and screnery were the worst part.....PS2 textures and low polys.
...just "HOLY SH1T, THAT LOOKS LIKE CRAP!". :p
Unless the games are simply behind schedule, there's no reason to delay release on the 360.
