It would be AMAZING to see a Castlevania game developed by Santa Monica Studio.

Sony's first party studios are on a league of their own. Santa Monica studio deserves huge Christmas bonus and to be very proud of their passion at work.
I predict the next game to break that record is going to be Spider-Man 2.
No way this game is better than Elden Ring or Horizon but it is a critically acclaimed game so it is time to get it now with the black Friday discount on PSN.
This feels so out of place. The first thing that comes to mind to the majority is... "this guy doesn't deserved that at all".
I think it can be dangerous for Microsoft. What if all that money spent on those studios are not returning any revenue or profit?
Those games are not going to benefit from a multiplatform environment anymore and the Xbox install base is smaller. They will have to rely on monthly subscriptions.

Xbox desperately needs a big hit game since they have failed to provide as such in this current Gen. On the other hand, it is not good to release a game too early as they can make it worst like Cyberpunk when it was released.
Bethesda can't count with the Playstation install base this time so they better make and release a good game.
I love both GOW and Elden Ring. For me, they are both unique and amazing experiences. I do prefer the story narrative on GOW. I'm not a fan of trying to figure out a story reading every weapon I pick up or going to YouTube to understand the story and that's the only complain I have with From Software games.

I see no Xbox presence. Maybe that's one of the reasons they want to spend so much buying game developers studios.
Restricting Activision games to a smaller user base will create new opportunities for developers to rise in the multiplatform market with new experiences.
I don't agree with Microsoft buying and making a monopoly with COD but if it happens, then it will open a new door for other developers to go beyond COD because right now, they can't compete but if COD is restricted only to the Xbox smaller user base, then it will give plenty of space for others to take advantage for example Battlefield and Destiny.
The game deserves it. Is pure greatness and quality.
