Returnal is an amazing game. As long as Sony's first party games release exclusive to the console first and then after a few years on PC, I'm ok with that.
Returnal already did an amazing job as a PS exclusive. Now that is not selling anymore, it is good to give it more life on PC.

I remember the Nintendo vs. Sega console battle back in the day. It was heated but they never went to such low levels of mediocrity like Xbox is doing.

The big problem for MS is that they already lied with their previous deal stablishing a precedent and now the European antitrust authorities will use this as clear evidence to block this deal.

This wasn't expected according to a certain group that said the deal was 100% sure to happen.

To understand this, we have to separe things here.
People have no problem paying for a high quality product (look at iPhones or Samsung Galaxies). The problem lies charging for products that are not high quality.
Sony's first party studios are high quality games. Just see the reviews, awards and millions they sell. People are ok paying for that high quality.
