Interesting to see the contrast here... While Xbox has spent way more money adquiring studios and publishers and they even have more first party studios than Sony, and they even have a subscription model, PlayStation and Nintendo still top them on everything.

I'm just curious to see how COD will perform on a limited user base and by offering it on gamepass without the small user base spending 60$. I say this is the perfect moment for another developer to take over COD now that is not going to be multiplatform.

That's amazing. Elden Ring is such a great game but to be fair, The Last of Us 2 is still the most awarded game of the year, platform exclusive game.
A very hard achievement to get when your game is only available on 1 platform.

I wonder how they are going to make a return in money since on an estimate, 85% of the small Xbox user base is going to get it on gamepass and is not going to sell at $60 and is not going to be available on the bigger Playstation user base.
Also, Behtestha publicly said that it was going to be better for them to not work on a Playstation version so they have NO EXCUSES this time for all ...

I liked DS1 but is not a game I would revisit. I didn't even wanted or expected a sequel.
I hope part 2 has a different gameplay. Getting back to this game to do the same stuff is not going to be attractive to me.
That's a very possible and likely scenario that I don't think Phil is aware of. Xbox believe that by getting COD at that ridiculous price is the ultimate move for them but if this doesn't work, is can be the end of Phil or Xbox.
That's a possibility. Look at all that Xbox has already done and all the studios they have bought and yet they remain the underdog.
COD going exclusive to the small Xbox user base will give room for other developers to make a multiplatform shooter to take its place and then Xbox will regret paying so much money for a game that will no longer generate money as when it was multiplatform.
That's nice as I would like to play a second time with a different Stat build. I haven't finished the game yet but what an amazing ride. Truly a master piece.

Sony and Nintendo have worked very hard throughout the years building their software, teams and relationships. They are the leaders in the market because they have invested and worked hard. They didn't received their success on a lottery ticket.
MS has failed to get this success because of their management and business tactics. They even confirmed to be the underdog.

MS does not care about gaming. They just want to fill their giant company ego. They can't stand that smaller companies like Sony and Nintendo are killing it and having more success.
For me, this game will be good to get when on sale and after some good software updates.
