Interesting that Xbox has never publicly acknowledge that they are last in the market until now that they are trying to make a case practically saying... "we are last in the market, we cannot compete against Nintendo and Sony so we deserve to buy Activision".
One thing is having exclusive content versus having the whole game exclusive. Microsoft strategy right now is... So we cannot compete against them? Ok.. Let's buy the whole industry then.

It is very sad that the only way Microsoft has found to compete with Sony is just by buying game developers in order to keep games out of Playstation platform and create a monopoly.
It was doomed from the get go with such an horrible bussines model and false promises.
Demon's Souls was the starting point for me and of all their games, my favorites remain Bloodborne and Elden Ring.
I knew this was doomed from the start. Underdelivering, false promises and an horrible bussines model. The way they treated developers is going to sting them in the future as they are not going to trust them anymore.
I played the demo. It's basically Nioh in another skin. It played very good. I had to play it with an AI companion because it is very difficult.
Hope the final product is good.

Very sad it has always come to this. In the Xbox 360 days, Microsoft started that trend of locking or having time exclusive content in order to compete (they couldn't compete on their own content) and then when Sony did it, they were the bad ones.
Now on this generation, Microsoft strategy to compete is to buy all mayor studios, as always, they cannot compete on their own and they need to disrupt the market with their trends.
Wow they sold me the PSVR 2.

Those games were in a fine thin line between fun and ultra rage / frustration. Those games took a peace of our soul.
Not believing in any stuff like this until something official is announced and if that happens, then it would be a matter of who is developing the game.
I would love a reimagined SH2 game.
Stray on Playstation became a critically acclaimed hit so it is not about if it is an Indie, AA or AAA... It is about how good of a game the developer can make.

Guerrilla games have better story telling than From Software and I don't see anyone complaining about From Software. Many times I have finished From Software games without even having a clue of what the heck is going on.
Looks very ridiculous when they give a 10 to a game like that. A very big contrast from all other reviews who say is a frustrating slog and boring game 🤷.
