I could have sworn I'm playing DC and AC on my ps3 right now.
Maybe just maybe there are gamers who don't give a crap about another FPS/platformer or playing the same games with just a pixel upgrade to the leaves or water or whatever floats the boat for early adopters.
Let me know when the 8th gen only RPG's and TPS's arrive and then other gamers will have a reason to upgrade.

I'm with you pal. Software sales hardware in my book and they should have had a bevy of great next gen only games if they wanted to convince the masses to jump ship earlier. Prettier graphics only motivate the hardcore, most gamers want new gameplay functions, new gaming experiences to master.

Ha, called it! Only on n4g would tlou beat out gta5. Sony fanboys have become more annoying than ms fanboys and I didn't think that was possible.
Gamers got it right, thankfully. I'm sure more gamers had more fun and continue to have fun with gta5 verses a one and done cliche.

I keep seeing this statement and I can't believe I'm the only one that hated having to grind in 5 JUST to drive the car I wanted, offline at that. I remember dozens of grinding threads, about which tracks payed out the most and how long you had to race the same race over and over to make headway.

Gotta remember not everyone has a great imagination and need to be told how to have fun. Give them direction and they are good, drop them in the middle of an open world with only their thoughts and they are lost.
Hope more devs continue to use other races in the future despite the vocal minority who can't relate to them or simply refuse to even understand the characters because of their own bias views of said races.
