I must not be a big enough nerd or live in the wrong part of the world if tlg, shenmue is it? And ff7 are megatons. I've seen the begging for these games for years now and its obvious they have a following but to each their own.
Just stop acting like everyone is a sony hater because they point out not everyone is excited for these "megatons " that aren't even coming out anytime soon.
This is the exclusive I've been waiting to upgrade for. Not another entry in a great series, not some graphical powerhouse but a new ip that looks to have amazing gameplay and more importantly looks fun to play.
Day one buy for me.

last one is a toss up for me between dark souls 3,UC4, just cause 3 and tomb raider.
If dark souls 3 is more like dark souls 2 instead of 1 its a day one buy. UC4, JC3 and tomb raider while all great looking and more than likely fun to play looks to just be more of the same with prettier pixels and that ain't gonna excite me in the least.
As much as I'm looking forward to horizon from GG, who is one of my favorite devs, not much else blew me away from sony.
I'm definitely in the minority, at least on this site that is not excited for the last guardian or Shenmue, those games seem aimed at a niche market and won't get many excited, off this site which is obviously pro sony anything.

If you bought a new gen console it's your own fault. There ISN'T a single new gen only game that does ANYTHING differently than last gen consoles, GAMEPLAY wise.

What difference does it make how many games use weapon spawns instead of loadouts? If there was only one I'd hate that one game. Very reason i could never get into halo and hated that UC2 copied that instead of normal loadouts.

I stopped buying games on release ages ago, in particular SP only games as there is ZERO reason for me to pay full price for that type of game. Just not worth full price for games that you know will be bug filled, regardless of who the devs are. Even as great as CD is the witcher3 still needed patches.

Another terrible decision. Yet another game with ZERO reason to buy at release as it will be filled with bugs and consumers will get the same story experience months later at a lower price and better functionality from the game.
No, not every game needs mp/co-op but certain games can most certainly add replayability with it. ME3, UC2/UC3, TLOU and more all have an enjoyable mp aspect that most times playtimes far exceeds any sp playtime.

It's a button masher only if you're the type to mindlessly mash buttons. It is a very simple system to use yet hard as hell to master. There are a number of enemies that you can't just "hit" which means you're not just standing there mashing buttons like a moron.
I'd love to see gameplay from someone who just button mashed the entire game as i know you didn't beat the game because there are enemies who won't let you just hit the same but...
