Lol, he changed the picture from an close up of quiet bent over to a pic of snake! Probably only because someone called him out on it. Hilarious!

Yeah, no.

And this is why I stopped buying games at release. Last game I bought at release was years ago along with the season pass that didn't include all of the dlc as they implied it would.

These devs have saved me so much money seeing as i used to buy at least two new games a month. I now wait for all the patches that you know are coming due to them rushing the game out and all the "dlc" that i truly believe is a lot of cut content.

Yep, here's a...

Our society is so ass backwards and uptight about all the wrong things. It's the norm to showcase violence and murders to the cows come home, but expose the female form and all hell breaks loose.

Not to mention all the half naked men running around games, oh THAT'S fine though? Wtf

Hate the setting, think I'll pass

Can't believe I clicked. In the very next paragraph he goes on to let me know mgsv is the greatest thing EVER and begrudgingly gives max a bone or two. Waste of my time.

I'm guessing you didn't read my whole post when I explicitly stated "unless playing stealthy is your way" and just focused on that one line?

I'm happy you enjoy and garner ultimate satisfaction from playing it that way. Glad I outgrew that mentality and don't utilize scores to determine how much fun I'm having playing a game.

I'd rather "half ass" the stealth and go guns blazing whenever I like and still score an S ...

Totally agree with Patrick. While I've played my fair share of the mgs series it's been a while since I've had to really rely on stealth as my primary tactic. First few hours were a pain as I'd get spotted by a guard I missed and all hell would break out, sending me into a complete panic trying to improvise and getting killed because I was still focused on being spotted.

Once I stopped caring if I was spotted or not my enjoyment of the game blew threw the roof...

I know I'm one of the few who doesn't need a strong narrative to play and enjoy a game, but gameplay is king for me and boy does mgsv get that right. I find myself playing for countless hours just freeroaming as it's just so entertaining.

Nope, just show me where the baddies are and I'll take care of the rest. I like it when the story ISN'T shoved all in my face, cutscenes after long ass cutscene. No, just put the story somewhere I can find it and if I...

Totally agree.

Especially when some of these sites are bashing other open world games but praising mgsv yet it has similar if not the exact same mission design of go here kill everyone (or not) obtain whatever item/person needed, end mission.

The whole you can complete missions in a variety of ways is true, but it's also true for those same other open world games. If it's up to the players to dictate how they approach a mission in mgs and that's praised it should go the same f...

Yea, it's on another level for halo fans. To everyone else it's just another iteration of an old franchise, on a sub level from starwars.

I can't wait for the many mods that are going to pop up for this game, exciting times!

3790d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

Better than replaying the same sp experience that doesn't change, unlike mp modes where every match is sure to be different than the last.

Games without mp are a waste to buy at full price and you aren't supporting the devs by doing so, they've already been paid for their work, what you think devs work on commission?

You're only lining the pubs pockets who spent more on advertising than the actual game development. If the acceptable norm is p...

Im totally cool with dumb devs for making it easy for you to just rent their games instead of buying them. Didn't have to buy any of those listed games to get the full experience! I'll wait a couple of months for fallout to get patched up and rent that too.

Might end up buying them once their all in the bargain bin for a very very low price.

3790d ago 0 agree2 disagreeView comment

Agree with both of you! I just wait until they are in the bargain bin when it's just a solo experience. Still haven't bought W3 and won't until it's much cheaper and i can save on the paid dlc or get a complete game.

Same with batman and so on but bet your dollars im grabbing star wars at release and any others that has an mp component. I just don't like being behind in mp and getting annihilated isn't fun.

Just don't see any need...

That's fine, don't expect consumers to pay full price for a damn 12-15 hour game at release either. Without mp there is zero reasons to buy at release, not when it will be a better game by waiting for all the patches giving you a better experience for a much cheaper price.

Sure a few diehard tools will rush out to waste their money right away but most will wait. Unless it's a well known ip no one is going to rush to get it.

3790d ago 0 agree3 disagreeView comment

Disagree. Hopefully it doesn't resemble UC2 mp design at all. I like loadouts over pick ups.

3790d ago 0 agree3 disagreeView comment

Agreed. I saw the spoiler alert but had no idea he was going to tell the entire plot and ending of the damn game.

Blows my mind all the love mgs is getting when it can be just as repetitive as the next open world game. But it's fine for mgs but a huge negative for max?

Freaking blowhard this guy is!
