It's ridiculous. It goes back to the "always online" thing, if the console doesn't require internet yet 99% of the features it offers does, nothing is being accomplished, you still have to be online! Same goes for all of the features Kinect is offering, it defeats the purpose of using an xboner if M$ claims the box was built from the ground up to utilize Kinect. I can bet whatever exclusives come out, M$ will push Kinect so players use it more as well.

I've been a 360 fan since launch..as well as the first Xbox. But now, I can gladly say I'll never again purchase any console from Microsoft. They've screwed their hardcore fans so many times I've lost count. It'll suck because I've grown accustomed to the exclusives (albeit the very few) they did own. That being said, change is good and I look forward to playing my future PS4 and all the exclusives you know Sony will offer.

Xbox has always had one of the best controllers IMO. That being said it sucks that it's owned by M$. You won't get too many exclusive games to use the controller with. If this generation meant anything then you know MS is going to ditch making good exclusives a couple years in. So then your stuck with multi-platform and kiddie games only...better to just play it safe and pick up the competition ;)

halo CE, halo 2, star wars battlefront, mech assault 1 & 2 all ran like garbage both on my original 360 and the refurb I got down the road. As soon as I'd play them on my original Xbox they'd run fine, which I still have to this day. I repeat: consistent lag and low fps.
maybe both of my 360s we're defective which I find very hard to believe (they played all current Gen games perfectly fine)

Flawlessly? Lol yeah ok. Everytime I tried playing Halo CE or Halo 2 on my 360 it ran like complete crap. 15-20 FPS, and consistent lags. The emulator in the 360 was absolutely brutal.

Getting an easy 10-12 seconds starting up running Windows 7 64 Bit. I added a 128GB SSD and re installed the OS on it. Loading up the desktop takes seconds, it's awesome!
Kind of off topic but I wonder with Gaikai on the PS4 if they'll bring LOD back or even re-done in HD. Regular or HD, don't make no difference to me!
