Launch games shouldn't determine what console you purchase. Sure maybe the X1 has what some people believe to be a "better" selection then the PS4 (Personally I find the PS4 side more interesting), but launch games are forgotten almost instantly and never look as good as the games that come out even a year after new consoles hit the market; the PS3 and the Xbox 360 can both attest to this. MS also claimed 24/7 internet connection, strict DRM policies, Kinect mandatory plug in, etc. They claimed it was designed like that from the ground up and change wasn't possible...look where that got them. I'm pretty sure a few months in they'll release a kinectless model strictly because the PS4, which I think at this point is safe to say, will be outselling them horribly at an abysmal rate.

Choosing your console based on launch games? Lol, that's smart. As if launch games determine how successful the console will be? Lets look at facts: Fact#1: 2 years into the life time of the Xbox 360, MS practically ditched exclusive games entirely, seeking instead for timed exclusives and dlc . Fact#2: PS3 and Sony never did. Pretty simple who my decision will be .

I'm deeply interested in this game, but the cost of a monthly sub doesn't sound too appealing. Gameplay recently revealed wasn't as good as I thought it would be..if you haven't seen it, watch it, the archery is downright horrible.
NTM when I can play games such as GW2 that is F2P and offer essentially the same features as ESO. Really hope Zenimax changes this before launch.

Not sure what's the deal with all the hate but personally I think they blew it out of the water. I can't wait to get my hands on a PS4 now. And for those complaining about no updates from some of Sony's biggest devs, come on guys just think about it -- They're most likely timing it to go up against Micros biggest games/devs as well, IE devs such as Epic, 343, Lionhead Studios (I doubt Fable Legends is the only thing they have planned, talk of their MMO is still pretty rampant)...

Letting the media get their hands on it is great and all but it would just be common sense to have a show at GamesCom and let I don't, maybe the WHOLE world know what their future plans will be regarding the Xbox One. Interesting idea, I'd actually utilize this knowing I'm getting rid of satellite TV in my basement (Don't watch it anymore). But having TV through the PS4 and no other boxes required sounds pretty sweet. Also good to know that Sony is announcing this AFTER they made clear to everyone the PS4 is about games...as it should be! (ahem ahem - looking at ONE other console, the ONE console to ruin it all.. for M$.....you get the jist lol)
