Gears2 campaign was my least favorite but I thought the scene where he finds his wife was very well done. Everything involving finding his wife before that is what seemed cheesy to me.

I have been playing Battlefield since 1942 and there has always been camping. That's how Battlefield is. I'm not sure where you got this "Call of duty campers" term from. CoD is arena style and fast paced. What you are experiencing is the "mainstream" or less skilled players slowly creeping in.
