Competition is good. If it wasn't for competition the PS3 would still be $500. If it wasn't for competition CoD would be the only multiplayer game released. Do you want that?

So EA isn't greedy? Look at what their doing to recent gaming franchises. Mass Effect 2? Crysis 2? Dragon Age 2? And closing down servers for their games? I wasn't aware I was renting their games. Who said I haven't played any of those? I only mentioned games that came out in the first year of the 360 launch. But thanks for reminding me of a few that gave fallen from grace.

Idunno, the 360 seemed pretty solid the first year. Games like Gears1, Rainbow Six, Oblivion, Dead Rising, FNR3, Burnout, CoD2, and FEAR. IMHO these developers are getting too comfortable with this gen. Game franchises are becoming too stale. Almost all installments after their debuts feel like a step back to me(CoD, BF, ME, Gears, FEAR, Dead Rising, Forza, Burnout. Did I miss any?lol.)

And what do you pay $60 for that isn't the same as the last? And to be perfectly honest it's a franchise for a reason. If you don't like said franchise for being(guess what?) a franchise then don't buy it. If you really want to hate on recycled gameplay and new maps I suggest you head over to a BF article. It's been almost a decade and all they have changed is the setting.

How the hell do you compare a game franchise that releases a new product annually to a video game console that you buy only once? Obviously the number of units sold for the Wii go down over time. You don't have to buy the damn thing year-after-year. And no, the Kinect nor the Move cut into the Wii market. And BF3 will most likely not cut into the MW3 market. Not every gamer only buys one game a year.

CoD has never been innovative in terms of gameplay. Go back and play MoHAA then play MW2. They will feel almost identical. They have a formula, I wouldn't expect them to change it now. It might not be the same setting as CoD or MW but I can almost guarantee that every CoD player will have no trouble playing their new game.
How come, as an American consumer, someone can not own a PS3 without being called an "American Bigot" but the Japanese use 360 game manuals as toilet paper? That seems like a double standard...
