Very Positive (86% of 5,663)
According to Steam, Sony, and Arrowhead, HD2 and GoT is available in 73 countries.
There are 195 countries on Earth.
I asked for this game as a gift. My wife couldn't find it at Gamestop, Amazon, or anywhere else.
I didn't realize it was digital only, I just figured it sold out because of the reviews and how good it looks.
Most consumers don't read gaming news daily, how would they know it's digital only?
Plus, outside of seeing it on Jackfrags YouTube channel, I hadn't seen much in the way of marketing.
I would also add that FFXVI, which I loved has a hint to one of their biggest problems: the number 16.
It's a great franchise, but that's all they've become known for. Dragon Quest is my favorite all time series but it's like they don't know what to do outside of those two IPs.
Valve never makes trilogies. The idea is that they don't want to become stagnant. Gabe Newell hates the number 3.
I can't imagine th...
Just as I thought - lying intentionally in order to troll. 🤣🤣
The UK and Ireland, the only places that it is required for ID and scans, passed the Online Safety Act in October 2023 and January respectively.
That is why, liar. It has nothing to do with Sony.
Now retract and admit that you were wrong (an honest mistake) or that you were intentionally lying in order to troll.
So your reply is just to repeat your lie?
Interesting.
Have a good day.
That's just a straight up lie. I don't need "government ID" nor a "facescan" to have a PSN account.
If some country has those laws, that's that country.
Why are you lying?
They're review bombing because PSN is required to play multiplayer.
Unlike some sites have claimed, it's not a launcher, it's just an overlay.
It's a bizarre thing to review bomb over since anyone can play it the single player game without it.
It's a single player game. The MP is bonus material.
Eivor Varinsdottir was a real shieldmaiden. Ubi allowed people to play her as a man.
Those that are "outraged" at how historically "inaccurate" this is were as silent as a winter night when AC: Valhalla allowed that to happen.
You've pointed out something factual that causes them significant cognitive dissonance. Of course they'll downvote you.
"Sony has made it clear long before its release that the PSN requirement is strictly for the online multi-player Legends mode in Ghost of Tsushima and the PlayStation overlay. Online connection or PSN is not applied to the single-player campaign, which is honestly what the game is all about."
"In a post on X outlining the game's impending PC release, Nixxes says that Ghost of Tsushima's single-player mode, including its Iki Island expansion, will be fully playable on Steam Deck thanks to extensive optimization efforts.
"However, the game will technically sport an "Unsupported" rating on Steam Deck. That's the rating Valve assigns to games for which "some or all" of their functionality doesn't work on Steam Deck, and ...
No you're right. Helldivers is only available in 1/3 of the countries where PSN is available.25 countries. Got it. And that source is a journalist. Not Sony, Arrowhead, nor Steam.
Thanks. I feel so much better now that my fellow Helldivers are not in the countries they say they're in because random internet guy says so.
Thanks for clearing that up.
Have you told Arrowhead yet, they don't seem to know that you can only buy t...
Learn to math:
There are 195 countries where Steam is available (195 countries in the world).
There are 73 countries where PSN is available.
Helldivers was delisted all the countries without PSN.
195-73=122 countries that could have possibly delisted Helldivers.
According to you, Helldivers is only available in (math: 195-170=) 25 countries. Article claims is 180 so 15 counties.

You and 7 other people haven't seen the "list" of 170 countries that have been bandied about.
And why is it my problem that you haven't informed yourself about which countries are on that list?
To be clear though, Steam does not restrict use of their platform in any country. So, to say that Sony delisted games in Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, and other similar regions is disingenuous. The taliban doesn't allow video games in Afghanistan.
There are many restrictions in many countries. Painting this as a false dichotomy of Sony or Valve ignores all other layers of what is going on.
Just be honest in your journalism about what countries are left o...
The very definition of evil.
Makes this list rather suss.
State of Play usually focuses on the PS brands so don't expect it and don't get angry when they don't.
That said, PC players might as well start signing up for the free PSN as well. It's not like we don't all have EA,Acti, Ubi, GoG, MS already.
They're bringing more games.
Slight difference. With Prime, you need an app to launch the video.
With HD2 and GoT, you just need the account, an overlay pops up and you're done.
