We literally just had this exact story and it was correctly stated that Ubisoft ran out the patch for all early access on the first day of early access.

This is what's wrong with the Series S holding 75% of Xbox Series owners.

Games are being held back. This game is designed for Series X and PS5. I bet it runs flawlessly on Series X, but that won't translate to sales.

Now some people want to retcon what's happened to this Gen of consoles games.

My bad, executives know better than anyone.

Why didn't this journo include statements from the Union of Video Game Workers?

@notatalll

"On August 27, our teams identified an issue where some PS5 players were playing on a previous version of the game. We quickly deployed an update and informed affected players to ensure their game was updated to the latest version (1.000.002) and advised that they begin a new save to avoid additional issues and progression blockers. We've followed up with affected PS5 players today to inform them we have provided them an in-game Trailblazer trinket as we...

Yeah and we already got the patch yesterday.

Just to clear up confusion. All early access adopters can get/ already have the day 1 patch.

So, no they won't have to wait until launch day and they can play now, just make sure
It's updated to version 1.000.002.

The original code was written on a Vic 20.

That will happen in two months.

Foamstars was a PS Plus title.

Sony bought the studio a year ago. The game didn't do well but the positives are that you have a technically solid game that launched with almost no bugs.

This means the employees of that studio have talent and that's what they bought. Hopefully Sony can get them to do something with it.

In the chair devs know what consumers want. It's the executives that don't.

Don't you mean, "realistic?"

If I ran into realism in a CoD game, it'd break immersion for me.

Depends on where in the world you are from. For instance, in the USA, all public school students must get 65 to pass classes or tests.

A 64, therefore, would be a failing score. A score of 70, while passing, doesn't mean well done.

However, in some parts of the world, 50% (or the equivalent) is passing. So, to see a 70 would be a decent score.

That isn't even what they are talking about.

China is telling streamers they are not allowed to talk about an entire laundry list of topics including "Covid, Taiwan is a real country, fetishes, China's one child policy, politics, personal attacks," etc etc while streaming the game. This is how autocracies work. People don't have freedom to criticize.

If you got the Gold edition, you get it tomorrow.

Ubisoft fans (fans in general): Please give us Black Flag 2

That would be a 90+ meta game right there.

I can't imagine that employees there wouldn't love to work on a game like that.
