I love how SONY had to add "Footage captured from a PS4" because there are so many morons on the internet that they can't figure it out unless someone bonks them on the head with it instead of having it confirmed in an article or interview.
Arbitrary Deadlines are no good when publishers push them without listening to the developers in the 1st place.
I've said this many times on here: Some ignorant "suit/publisher" claims to the media that they have the greatest game coming out in 3 months.
The DEVELOPERS (those that actually write the code) shake there heads and tell the "suit" that they cannot release a game that early in the process. They give a far more realistic ti...
Every year a team from the NFL wins the Super Bowl.
No one claims that "something really bad is happening" on the team when the players leave for bigger contracts with other teams.
Naughty Dog is the reigning "Super Bowl" Champions of Gaming (and have had multiple championships). Everyone wants the personnel on their team, so they offer contracts to those people.
What is so hard to understand here.
Most Televisions maximum display of 1080p.
Further, 4K TVs will obviously be the next leap for televisions. Since consoles are used with Televisions, they are limited to 1080p. The PS4 though can run on a 4K TV, however, there isn't any content that can deal with 4K resolutions.
And there aren't many PC games that handle 4k yet either. So... what is your point?
It is available at Gamestop for presale. This isn't a rumor. I would love to see it on PS4 but I don't think it is coming there.

Doesn't the X1 have to catch the Wii U first?
That is PS4 too. Sick! But why does the trailer say it is coming out tomorrow.
Hope so, thank you for reminding me about this game!!!
I am starting to wonder about this. Are some people's computers just not up to handling the screenshots or videos anymore?
Seriously, and I am not trying to knock Scriv, but it sure seems that some people are looking at games and claiming that the shots and vids are not as crisp and beautiful as others are.
Think about inFamous, Watch Dogs, Ryse, and other games that have "graphics" controversies.
I think they realized that. Especially since 2 took us down a path that took the ROLE out of role playing game.
I liked the Origins stories and how they all led to the bigger quest and how people treated you etc.
I love this new idea, but I already know how I am going to play it: opposed to religion, for magic.
The average of your scores = 29.5 for 4 categories.
29.5/ 4 = 7.375 not 6.5. Just wondering if you were including Online.
When I write a review (not often) if the game doesn't have an online component then it usually isn't included. If it does and is terrible then it should be included.
Just wondering what the thinking of the score was here. You are saying it is a 7.4 but then giving it a 6.5... which doesn't make sense to me...
That looks fantastic! And it reminds me of the 16Bit Shadowrun Games. Almost as if you used the Shadowrun engine and created Top Secret (the RPG table top from the 1980s).
That is a combination that works for me. I am backing this!
What I want to know, is, if I get the Special Edition, or whatever it is called for $79.99, then do I get all of the DLC?
Is that part of the price? I think it should be. Then, I am paying $79.
At least Ubisoft does online and DLC right. I am so glad I never gave EA/DICE any more money for BF4 than I paid for it initially. Premium? for a broken game?
Love or hate Ubisoft, at least they ship a finished product.
I would say even pre 2000 was a great time for PC gaming. This is not to say there aren't some amazing PC games out now, certainly there are but when PC was king and consoles were niche, PC gaming = amazing.
RPGs alone were worth the price of admission. Anything Black Isle touched was pure gold. Richard Garriot was the king and Interplay could do no wrong.
Add to that sims, strategies, and Space Operas like Wing Commander, Tie Fighter, Homeworld...
I don't think you understand. These people are not Social Justice Warriors. They are not advocating civil rights. The ACLU and Amnesty International (and other groups like them) are not interested in what these two trolls have to say.
Second, and I guess I wasn't clear, what I was talking about with what happens to girls who game, isn't "trolling." I am talking about men who, because they see a girl gaming, think it is okay to hit on said girl, to &q...
Hey, do you think this could be an ongoing blog? It is well thought out and you are a credit to this community. Good work. I often have trouble sorting through the dross of Kickstarts. I have already (before your blog) backed Mighty Number 9 and Last Life.
However, I didn't know there was another Persia game. Thank you!
I am not really interested in the whole "Gamer Privilege" thing. And I honestly don't know that it falls under the broader scope of "Social Justice."
Social Justice is getting a wrongful murder conviction overturned because the only "crime" the defendant committed was being black. Those things occur far too often in a 1st world society. Social Justice is ensuring that all people can eat at a diner, use the same toilets (and drinking foun...
Makes sense because the Developer Rocksteady most likely NEVER said it would be out in the fall.
Release dates often come from "suits" working for a publisher who has no inkling of what it takes to deliver software.
Ask anyone in the coding/ dev business if they ever have had a "suit" overpromise what they could deliver. I guarantee a poll of every coder/ developer would result in the following:
Do "suits" often...

There are still a lot of events to be announced! Stay tuned for some updates on that front in the coming weeks."
For me it was the original Silent Hill. Was amazing, had it when it launched so it was quite stunning, as were the RE games.
