Absolutely. The Atari 2600 launched with 8 games (far less than this gen) and the ensuing year had them releasing a handful of other games with Activision being the first 3rd party studio to release a game for them.
But still, it was a limited amount of games until things really took off.
Ah yes! NHL 15 will be the first sports game I buy this gen, can't wait!
I play my PS4 every day and it hasn't gotten old. When the Destiny Beta ends, I need to finish Watch Dogs. Doki Doki Universe is a blast to play and I will probably pick up the DLC just for fun.
Once Destiny drops in September I probably won't be on N4G very often...lulz.
I'm able to use all the weapons I collected. I also get to use my grenade and throwing knife. I am in the PS4 Beta, so I was wondering if the people above were in a different Beta because you get more points per kill while in "control" of point.
You also get almost 150 pts for capping a pt. 75 neut and 75 cap whereas most kills net you only 100. But, the score keeps increasing while you hold captured points. You get 200 for a "capture kill."
Wonderful piece of journalism here. Please take note. I want N4G to have more of these types of articles.
Bring. It. On. There is nothing like variety to enhance my gaming library. And when it's a dev like From Software, I am all ears.
Excuse me. According to 4 geniuses, don't get good weapons. I stand corrected.
Oh, and apparently the game mode control isn't about... control. Awesome! I'm not sure those 4 are playing the same Beta I am.
Nothing more annoying than people who call others noobs. It just reveals how noobish the toxic player is being.
I hate how they act as if as soon as they picked up the genre they weren't owned by everyone else (and probably called a noob because of it.)
They must be incredibly insecure with themselves if they have to denigrate another person's gaming.
Same as PS. Servers are being stressed by all the downloading. Give it some time and things will settle.
Just keep entering the codes and eventually it will work (was the best advice for the PS Beta Dload).
"Why would Bungie give out level 20 weapons as prizes for doing well in the Iron Banner if they know players would not be able to use it now?"
Because we are allowed to keep them. Bungie has said as much.
I'm glad you're making games. I do take exception to your number 2 myth when you claim: "Many men believe women have no worth in the games industry beyond appearance."
If you are worried about men making generalities about women, don't you think it might weaken your point to make generalities about men?
As a rule, I tend to ignore critics, they tend to be insecure nobodies that don't (know how to?) contribute to society.

Not sure if serious. "Gaming PCs (etc) are $21 billion industry."
But entry cost (for a decent PC) is $800-$1000+
Or is it maths is difficults?
They are perfect the way they are. The just aren't simple run and gun. You need to find their weak spots and it doesn't hurt to have your local gunslinger along.
My heavy ammo hurts those spider tanks a ton and my sniper rifle knocks down the shield on the all seeing eyebot.
Step No. 1. Get good weapons. If you don't have any then don't even try PvP. If your gear isn't at least green, just forget it, you will get owned.
Step No. 2. It is control. Forget all about KDR, if you want to win, you need to cap and hold the points.
I wish more Publishers would allow the devs to say this instead of giving arbitrary release dates that are later "delayed" because in reality the dev never said they could produce the product when the publisher claimed.
It is also why we never hear the dreaded "delayed" when dealing with indies.
Can you go i7? Just wondering. I am waiting for a good SSD to drop just a few more bucks before I build my next machine.

This. I want it in the west though, please!
It's working though. Destiny Ghost Edition is sold out, everywhere. People who are partaking in the Beta are certainly heading out and prebuying the game.
Plus, that $500 million budget is for 10 years of supporting the game. When it is thought about that way, you may get a better perspective of the scope of Destiny.
