Do Reviews and Review Scores deserve insults?

Depends on how well reviewed it is, but I would also want a better definition of what a reviewer thinks is an insult.

I find it incredibly ironic that a critic can't take criticism.

Personally, reviews mean very little to me, I don't understand why critics are given even half the respect they think they deserve. "Those who can, do. Those who can't, criticize."

umm.. paying for trials? Seriously?

So, now you pay %80 a year to play Battlefield? Do you at least get DLC with that?

They should have never got rid of all the older great staff that wrote though provoking articles. Then they revamped the site and I kept asking for them to restore some of the previous features (like tracking unlimited games) and they replied "read the faq."

To be honest, there was a large contingent in the closed Beta that brought this idea up in the forums. We said that we wanted a subscription based service and it appears that Sony was listening.

It is interesting that they announce this so close on the heels of the EA announcement, but I am pretty sure it has been bandied about long before this.

Agreed. I was able to get a code to play it for the Beta and wanted to know where that awesome Neverwinter Nights feel went.
