The only problem with that is that no matter what we say people will say that we need to grow up and get a real job. No wonder I would rather play video games. If someone would rather say something so closed minded than listen to what I have to say than why even try? At least in video games I get exposed to different views on different subjects from all parts of the world.
People should just shut up about things they don't understand as they only prove themselves to be fools in...
I think they will be more like laptops in the way that you will be able to connect to anyone, anywhere. Portable systems are becoming like their stationary brothers in terms of power. Just look at the interaction between the PSP and the PS3. Pretty soon they will be one and the same.
Fox is like the Roman Empire. At one point they meant something but now they are in decline and they know it and are afraid. so they will say anything in order to stay alive against the onslaught of the terrible barbarians (the truth). In the end they will go one step too far and do something that even they can't predict the outcome of, and then they will die. Very slowly.
Green Peace is an ultra left wing organization that (like Fox News) will say anything it wants in order to get people to pay attention to them. Same thing with PETA, case in point: when Pamela Anderson stood naked in a store front window to protest fur. Never mind if it has anything to do with what you are talking about as long as it gets people talking about what you want them to.
We need something to blame because it is the only way for some people to get up in the morning. They are able to say that you are poor because you play video games, while I am rich because I watch movies. Neither has any real basis in reality and is thus unprovable, which means that it is right in some people's (FOX's) minds.
The article says that the "red ring of death" is caused because MS rushed the XBox onto the shelves, but that is a poor reason (IMHO) because they have had all this to make sure that it doesn't continue. Instead they just keep releasing the same defective product over and over again no matter how many people tell them what is wrong and what can be done to fix it.
MS is just going to have to learn that while ALOT of people are loyal to them, a paying customer's only re...
very creative way of doing things, I must agree
Plenty of options are nice. Why do you think cars have so many options for the same model.
Backward Compatibility was a major selling point for me. When I was deciding what next gen system to buy, the BC was what made the PS3 a clear winner. To get rid of that feature so quickly, especially while they are still making games for the PS2, is down right crazy and stupid.
Is this for real?
I agree that we need more bundles. There is no point in lowering the price for the system while the average price of games stays the same. Even though I already own a PS3 I would gladly pay $50 more for the system if I was getting a game and/or an extra controller with it.
This guy also seems to not know that there is already a FF movie out there, although you can't really blame him.
Could it also be that most of MS's money is in paper and not in the bank? Sure, Bill Gates may have billions but he doesn't actually "have" any of the money because most of it is tied up in the company's stocks. Although that may have changed now that he is retired.
As long as they keep their promise about the different level layouts throughout the game. I can't count how many times that promise has been made and then broken.
By borrowing money they are only proving what I said in another thread (Go see what I said about MS and Disney). MS is losing money and they want to buy something that allows them to make money behind the scenes while appearing (in public) that they are making the money themselves.
Peggle? Never heard of it. Where can I get it?
I have never played picross itself, but i have played similar games. It is a very fun and challenging concept. It is a very good game that is very good at killing time.
This is exactly like when Disney bought Pixar. MS (like Disney) hasn't done anything worth while in a long time so they want to buy something that is doing good so that they can say that THEY are in fact doing good business.
They didn't complain because they knew that it would be brought up when they went and did something like this. A monopoly is also a problem when there are only two companies out there. Especially when they offer very similar products and all that depends on your choice of the product is all up to your personal choices.
Anything they say that can distract people from the real problem means another cheque from the Bush government.
