This is a vast market but the average annual salary for a family is $2,200. I don't expect any consoles to make that much of a difference in China. It will probably do a bit better than it will in Japan but again, that's not much. Same with Sony.
It wouldn't have mattered who they got. If they got Alan Tudyk they just would have said "Ok Alan, that was great but can you deliver the line again only this time strip every ounce of emotion from it because that's what we want. Same end result, different voice actor.
You shouldn't blame dinklage. He's a great actor with proven range. Blame bungie, this is clearly what they asked him for and it's exactly what they wanted. It just turns out many disagree with what bungie was going for.

Priced more accurately to reflect lower specs would be more like $369.00-$379.00. PS4 isn't $100 -$150 more powerful no matter how bad you want it to be. Just being realistic. The systems are very close but PS4 has a slight edge.
Sucks for everyone involved. I really hope MS tries to purchase the Ryse IP. I would love to see that IP get another chance.
The PS4 version doesn't have the co-op split screen mode though so it's not really the definitive version.
@Kayant. Main stream gamers have NO idea about the 180's and they probably never will. Our voice is the strongest at the start of a new generation because we're the early adopters and we're the only ones spending money and speaking up. The sad fact is that our voice becomes less impactful, the more mainstream gamers get onboard. If mainstream money is pointing one way but our voice is pointing the opposite direction, mainstream is going to win every time.

When you shave poly mesh and reduce texture size you do so only as much as you have to before you start noticing a difference in quality. I'm fine with that if that's the case as you don't notice the difference.
