Black ops II was in my opinion the best Call of Duty in the past few years. Looking forward to what Treyarch does with the third one. I want an update to nuke town too!
Well that's good to hear considering I use it everyday. I'm not saying I want every game to use it (because i don't) but keep a handful of creative, fun games coming my way every year and I'm happy. That and continue introducing new features for it. I'm curious to see how the PC community and indie teams get creative with it in the coming years.
I agree. Street fighter just never evolved but some people think that's part of its charm. Also, the new characters after SF2 just didn't seem to be up to the same level of quality as the rest. I think that's part of it as well.
Definitely Mortal Kombat over Street Fighter for me. Street Fighter stopped being relevant for me after SF2: Turbo Edition. After that, I can't put my finger on exactly what it was but it lost the magic for me.
Ori is tough! I'm pulling my hair out on the anti gravity area. Still my favorite game of the year though 10/10. I know it's a different kind of game but how would you compare the difficulty to bloodborne? Are they even comparable?
I disagree. I'm not a huge fan of either of those two franchises but I love my xbox one. I just wish it came with more disk space so I don't have to keep deleting Ryse , middle earth and sunset overdrive every time I want to install new games. My only gripe with the system.

Halo 5 will without a doubt sell 3 million copies within the the first 3 months easy which I feel will make it the biggest release of the year for xbox. That's interesting. I can't imagine the TV show would continue without the game though. Remedy has a story that they want to tell and an interesting way in which they are going about telling it (game blended with the show). I would assume (and i could be wrong) that the story would be wrapped up via the games ending.

PS4 is definitely an amazing console, nobody can argue with that. When you throw up PS4 exclusives vs MS exclusives, personally I prefer Microsofts exclusives. That's not to say that Sony doesn't have some great games because they do. MS exclusives just appeal to me much more. I definitely plan on picking up a ps4 closer to the end of next year when there's more out there that appeals to me. But you are absolutely correct, to each his own.
With PS4's lead I would expect PS to at least be in the top 5 in terms of software. Kind of surprised to still see COD and Assassins creed still up there.

Nintendo puts more of an emphasis the social aspect of gaming more so than any other gaming company. I don't see them abandoning those principles for VR which is more immersive but also more isolating. I will say that Nintendo always does what you least expect them to do so I'm sure it will be interesting to see what they come up with next.
Can you imagine if Nintendo made a mario maker 3d using all of the assets of Super Mario World 3D, and the Galaxy series? Basically a magical version of minecraft. They would absolutely CRUSH it. If Mario Maker is a success I think it's the logical next step.

This trend is concerning. It's ok for them to still take your money and sell 2k14 in their online store but they don't have to support the servers? Just disappointing.
