After my time with the beta I decided not to purchase but instead rent it from gamefly. If after 2 weeks If still can't get into it, I'll send it back. Two of my favorite FPS are borderlands and Halo so there is no reason why I shouldn't be all over this but it's just missing something and I can't quite figure out what it is. Pacing maybe? I want to love this game but it's just so sloooow.
Everyone has such high expectations for this game and I worry this game will fall victim to the hype train. It's not a bad game by any means, just not as great as we were all hoping it would be. Again, that's not a bad thing, it's ok for a game to not get an 8 or 9. If it's fun, just play it.
What tears? MS is having fun with this. Just smile or don't and move on.

I haven't pre-ordered my copy yet. Why would i? It's not like they are going to run out of digital copies. Nobody I know pre-orders games anymore. I thought this was kind of funny and funny usually gets my money.

I think we all have blinders on. Part of what makes No Man's Sky so fascinating was that it came out of nowhere, is an indie game and is made by a team of just a few talented individuals. If this same game was being made by EA or UBISOFT I feel like it wouldn't be getting as much attention. Just my 2 cents.
Yeah but can you imagine the hassle to coordinate when you can both play that specific game? Maybe you want to play but he wants to play something else. It just seems like a huge hassle but I get what you're saying. In theory it sounds cool.
I feel like this is one of those features that sounds good on paper but most people won't really use much. It's cool that Sony is stepping it up though. Hats off to them for that.
