Lionhead has multiple teams so perhaps one of them is working on a true fable sequel. I agree with Christocolus though, this game is absolutely gorgeous. Free too so I'm on board.
It's a balance. They need to do both, and I believe they are based on Phil's need to beef up first party. Excited for this e3. People want their mascots though. Can you imagine of they stopped making Mario, Zelda, Halo, Gears games? A lot of people would be disappointed.
There is multiplayer (4 player splitscreen) just not online multiplayer.

I expect the sales of xbox 360 and ps3 will drop even more next year contributing to an even further drop. Though it might balance out as now it's upgrade season for many casual games. We shall see ...

as much as I would love for all consoles to drop to $299 or even $199. They are both selling so well now I don't see that happening. We'll get the holiday discounts and an extra game around the holiday's but I don't expect an official price drop from anyone this year.
Nobody said it would make a massive impact on xbox1. Will It make games look or preform a bit better, sure. But nobody expects a "massive" jump. You know that though, you just like to jump in and stir the pot.

It will be the same as battlefield, slightly higher resolution but it'll look the same graphically speaking. There will be the "ps4 has an extra inch of snow on that mountainn I see it guys!" You have the best of both worlds . Xbox for the holiday's when sony's games are slim pickings and PS4 during the xbox summer drought. You are lucky my friend.
Microsoft should do what sony did and delay most of their 2014 holiday lineup and spread it out the following year like they did with the order and bloodborne. MS has too many titles lined up for holiday 2015.
I think we should wait to see what E3 brings from both parties but I agree, this year is looking very strong for Microsoft.

I don't have a problem spotting enemies in 720p but I respect your opinion.
You make it sound like 720p is a bad thing. I would rather they make an amazing looking game with loads of action being on screen at 60fps over a resolution bump. I'm more interested in the game than the resolution but that's just me.
I'm fine with it being in 720p as long as it looks amazing.
